  1. Yes and I'm sure there are plenty of them in the self serve yards in Denver. Pull the door triangle trim - forward on the door. It pops off, gently pry it off close to the pins. A painters 3 in 1 tool works great. Remove the Door panel Remove the electrical connector Remove the 3 screws holding the mirror.
  2. Reman short block from Subaru. They are $2150 and come with a 3yr/36k warranty. Best deal going by far. The later model EJ's command a premium in the used market. You'll pay almost as much for a 100k used engine as a 0 mile short block from Subaru with a warranty that can't be beat. GD
  3. Here we are 5 months later, I've driven 2000 miles. It's running great with better gas mileage. Should I be tightening anything or making any adjustments? The alternator and ac belts seem to be fine.

Hi, Just to add/heads up, SOME parts places will call it an 'Outback' whiles others note it as a "Legacy Outback". Depends on whom you ask. And each state has its own labeling method so titles are not always reliable sources. td
  5. Any additional high load accesories like heated seats or high power lights need to be run off of Fused relays, NOT through the ignition switch. That is likely the issue.
