  1. Hey Guys & Gals, My newly acquired 92 Loyale, needs new tires and I'd like to get rid of the 13" steelies that require higher priced metric sized tires. What are the largest factory wheels with the correct bolt pattern that can be used? Because of the outragous gas prices, I wouldn't mind going larger (taller final drive) as long as it wouldn't rub.... I just pace traffic, anyhow. My car is screaming @ 60 mph! If they aren't Subaru wheels and I should be looking at other auto manufacturers, that's fine; my only requirement is that they be something that I can find while in the j/y. Steel wheels wouldn't be out of the question... the cheaper, the better! Thanks, Todd
  2. Any idea where (behind the dash) I should be looking or for what color? Edrach, I tried ebay and didn't find anything for a FSM.... I'm seriously considering going to the dealership. Anybody know who publishes them? I'll test continuity at the switch, but the contacts look good. I may be running a new ground from behind the dash, to the light's connector in the passenger kick. Amartin, from your reply, it seems that you have a wiring diagram. Would you be able to e-mail me a copy or even fax it? Snail mail would also be an option.... I'd pay for your time and postage. Thanks for the replies! -Todd
  3. Hey folks, just joined and I have some questions about my 92 Loayle. First off, I wanted to know where I could get a factory service manual for the car. I searched online and can only find the Chilton or Haynes manuals. I desperately need a good wiring diagram!!! What are the websites that I should be getting parts from? I put an alarm/ remote starter in the car and had a couple issues. Where do I hook up the negative output to guard the doors? I wired it to the driver pin, but only that door sets off the alarm. Another is about the domelight. It does not work when I open the doors... any of them. The light works by manually moving the lever (at the light), so I know it's getting power. I can get the dome light to activate when disarming the alarm... feeding the light ground through a relay. The pinswitches in the jambs, all look good, and I see that the "door open" sensors are working. I pulled the driver pin switch and found 2 orange wires soldered to it. One shows power when the pin is depressed and the other shows nothing... I'm assuming it's ground. Where in the car do all of the grounds meet to activate the light? TIA, Todd BTW, the way that this car is wired is insane. I've never owned a car where the wires change color after going into a connector!!!
