Spray carb and choke cleaner around the base of the carb and listen if the moters sound changes if it does change then you have a leak on the carbs seal at the intake be carefull not to start a fire with the carb cleaner

take off your heat riser tube that goes from the air cleaner to a shroud on the passenger side exhaust if it smooths out there is a hole there it happened to me once the intake was sucking in a whole lot of exhaust gasses and making it run real bad

I have gotten one out of a loyal it took a while to get started I used stiff piano wire and used it like a saw like the others talked about but it was a pain in the a** i found the stiff wire works well but it is smooth so not much friction for the cutting

there is a shop off of baptist church rd between lindbergh and tesson ferryI think it is a MARKII auto center I have heard good things about also at Manchester and 141 there is a place called Roy's sevice center that I have used in the past with no complaints. good luck

I had the same problem with one I had thst sat it took a real good deep cleaning of the carb and a few hard miles on the highway to clear it out also make sure the engine is really warmed up before the test

I have an 84 Brat that is about to go under the knife after i find the rest of the parts I need daily driver 03 f250 fun driver 89 bronco full size

so it is still around thats good to hear sounds like it is traveling around a lot but is it under its own power or a parts car wish i had it now also glad to see more mid westerners

When I was on this board before there did not seem to be many mid westerners but I see membership has grown there has got to be others here now

i saw a early 90s honda prelude today with 4 wheel steering and it made me wonder if anyone here has attempted this modification? I see there is not much you all have not tried
