your might be able to apply for a title, but it costs like $150.i don`t think its worth taking for parts.loyale parts don`t seem to bring much.

beat it off from behind with a sledge hammer.little by little it should start coming off.also if you just keep dropping it quickly on the wheel with no lugs it should break loose.

if you are good with wiring, turbo is somthing to consider.high tech.the turbo will add some more performance, but not really a tremendous amount.i never really minded not having a turbo on most of my cars.also ,a nonturbo donar car is easier and cheaper to find.looks like a fun project.i might be able to help you find a donor, just let me know what you are looking for.just my $0.02 jon

hi and welcome to the board, there is a guy selling ea82 turbos on ebay for $420.heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33615&item=7950499685&rd=1 definatly alot cheaper than the ej22, because this should bolt up to your tranny, and is not as high tech. there is also a guy on ebay selling the ej22 turbos who says he`ll sell the engine, harness, tranny, and computer for $2800 ($1000 more than you want to spend & alot more work to install).good luck with your search, and let us know your decision. -Jon

hi an 80 brat with a ej20 single turbo motor in it would make an awesome sleeper:brow:.i`m thinkin about it.i like the brat as it is, but driving in my brothers wrx today makes me want one, but i can`t afford one at this point, so this could be the poor mans wrx (probly could do it for under $3800)there is a guy on ebay with the engine for 850 and the pre programmed computer and wiring harness.there is another guy on there with a wrecked wrx that has the tranny, drive line, and suspention.this has probly been asked before, but has anybody ever done this?it is neat imagining it, although it would be a ton of work.you`d be hangin with the mustang GT`s in an old stock looking brat.then you ad some speed stickers on the side and gain even more horspower!any suggestions? links to the ebay items: (computer)Ebay Item number 3192237422 $1400!!!
