my pops old 86 gl 10 had about 400k and was still goin strong when we sold it.one of the cleanest we ever had.my brats got 120k on the ticker, and my 360 has 40k.check the subaru high milage club web site. on that show maried with children (al bundy) gets up to a 999,999 with his dodge and dodge offers him a new viper if he drives to a million on there comercial, but the car rolls down the driveway the day before, and hits the mill.

just out of curiosity, what kind of speeds were you able to do in the 84 while towin? is the wagon a 5sp?did it whip side to side?sounds like a neat tow rig. -

subaru3 describes it exactly.the wheels may churp a little while turning.mine goes in and out of 4wd only when going straight.it will get you out if your stuck though.

if you are renting the dolly from uhaul, just go for the extra $15-20 and rent a 16foot car trailer.they make them pretty easy to use, and alot safer for the rx.dollys do work good for 2wd or cars that are not full time 4wd.good luck

if its an accell super coil, they are universal, but i think the wires are different.not sure what an A bar is.use the wheels with lower profile tires.sell off the rest of the good parts. -

yea, i second morgans idea.buy a cheap wagon and swap everything.that way your not left subyless, and don`t have to worry about selling it.sounds like lots of good parts. -
mines 4wd.i like the look of the 82 shortbed 4wd.toyota makes a good product:headbang:

i`ve done 2 timing covers on an 87 and a 90.people always think its the head gasket, but its the chain wearing against the side.these are the best quality trucks i`ve ever owned.nice and tight.thanks for the replies, jon

operose, did you tow that xt6 with another soob?that would be impressive. bucky92, i wish i could make it on sat, but my mother has already asked me to mow her lawn, and to help my father do some cleaning up around the yard.hopefully everything goes smooth on the GLF.i`ll keep a look out for a soob towin a soob (not something you see everyday)i want a picture of it before you unhook:grin: jon -

its got a 22re w/5sp.no rust, and runs great.bought it from the original owner who just bought an 05 of the same truck.

the toyota is in beatiful shape (needed a windshield, got that put in $150)only 97k.bought it right down the street too.
