    justy?

anybody 4 wheel in one of these?
  2. junkyard wars did several times... bugs dont float stock.. subarus do... foam in the fenders, bumpers, under carrage, and if i can, frame rails ought to make it float pretty well...if i can set up a prop from the diff, than that'd be great, but if i cant, than ill probably put a big trolling motor on the back that can be removed... possibly a small gas motor....
  3. haha... dont worry.. thats first addition
  4. i didnt think about that.... how much do u think that'd cost, and how likely wold i be to break.... what coul i use to seal it to... i figured a cv boot over some of the grease that i would have used between the hull and the motor and prop...
  5. i figured i should be able to keep it above the windowline...
  6. when i get my wagon, im thinking of setting it up for deep water, but with a twist... fill the front and rear fenders up with foam (like the stuff they used in monster garage) get the doors so they dont leak at all, and stick a BIG electric motor and prop (or jetski pump) on the back... than i can go ANYWHERE...lol
  7. i heard froma friend that it would probably take alot of work to make a baja strong enough... on trucks, the host was in sand in one, and he turned and the springs snapped....
  8. being a beachbum (im buying a subi because i am and need a lil 4x4) i swear to post pics when i buy one and have it on the beach...
  9. forghet anglegrinder... the hammer is enough:lol:
  10. i didnt like it at first, but it definatly grows on ya... pretty nifty
  11. thats friggin awsome... i hope i can find an older subi b4 this summer... i found one in dallas (loyale)
  12. i actually just found a loyal on craigslst in dallas for 450... i dont have that money right now, but its good to know there is stuff in my are (i.e. state)
  13. id propbably pull some weight off of it, than get a lift (aa is the only one i could find for it) and jump it from there.... probalbly not real often, but enough to say i jump it...
  14. would putting a transfer case from a better 4 wheel drive system be better (such as nissan or toyota)? we found one on craigslist in austin... they have a corrola and legacy (legacy needs alil work... oil leak, cv boot lil stuff.) for 1000... that way me and my sis can have a car for each of us...
