I just got home from a friends house and I pull in where my 1993 Subaru Imreza Wagon is parked and the tail lights are on! There are no keys in the ignition, the headlights are turned off, and no doors are left open but the tail lights are still on. I tried turning the car on for a minute to see if that would fix this but the car started right up and when I turned the car off, the tail lights are still on! Help! I don't really know what to do , except leave them on over night and let the battery die and then jump it tomorrow. Any help would be great! Thanks

It is an impreza my info needs updating, I joined this site many moths ago at about 1am and I must haev typed in the worng make (thank i never noticed that). I won't get to try and fix this for a week or two but I really appreciate everyones help. As far as the previous owner knows the airbags have never been deployed, and the carfax report didn't show anything. I read all these posts late last night, and got pretty excited of the possibility of having a horn again, so I went to bed in a good mood only to wake up covered in sweat and freaked out! I dreamt that I was fixing the horn go ing through all of the steps suggested and then I still had my hand under the steering column I pushed the horn button and WOW the horn makes soud. Next sparks shoot out I start getting electricutedand make my way back into the seat and what do you know POW airbag to the face, and that is when I wake up! So thank you al for your help and causing me nightmares! Again thanks for all your help/suggestions and I will hopefully get into this project (again being 'car dumb' this is a project for me) I won't be elecricuted or pummelled, but I should make some progress in the next few weeks.

I have a 93 Impreza Wagon, and I am only getting 20 mpg. from what I have seen this is low. The miles are all in town but I still didn't figure to get that low when I bought the car a month ago. I just changed the air filter, and it will be getting a tune-up this weekend. There is a belt that is loose and causing an awful noise that will also be replaced this weekend. I am thinking these things will help but am open for any other suggestions anyone may have to get more than 20mpg

I recently bought a 1993 Subaru Legacy wagon. The horn does not work at all I am hoping it is something simple like a bad fuse. I bought the fuse and opened up the fuse case, but it is all in Japanese, and I don't have an owners manual for the car. Does anyone know where i can go online to read a manual or a fuse chart? Or any other suggestions of what the problem with the horn could be that would be simple and inexpensive to fix as I am not very car saavy? Thanks for any help
