  1. Im pretty sure its not the amp, because the remote wire is plugged in, and thats suppose to turn off amp when the cars not on, and the amp's LED light isnt on when the cars off.
  2. Okay here is the 411. CAR SPECS 1991 Subaru Loyale Push Button 4WD 5 Speed Manual Transmission 675 CCA Battery Battery is less then 1 week old Alternator is less then 6 months old PROBLEM Lights Flicker (Go Dim, Get Bright Again, etc) Dome Light does this Headlights do this Dash Lights do this Parking Lights do this See, I thought it might be the fact that I have a 500 watt amp running off my battery. But, even when the face of my CD player DECK isn't in, it still does it. It can't be that the car is idling too low, because this does it right when the car is on, and continues to do it like when im driving, etc. Any suggestions? It's really annoying...
  3. Will fit on a 1991 Loyale (EA82) 5spd manual, push button 4wd. I want to know whats the largest size of tires and rims that will fit on my car, without a lift and without welding or doing anything to the car.
  4. Seriously? Then why does it go off sometimes when the doors are unlocked? And why did it just start happening? Never seen it before...
  5. Okay. So this stupid light comes on. And stays on. But sometimes goes off. Door Lock. 91 Subaru Loyale 4wd 5spd manual. WHY does it come on? WHAT does it mean? HOW do I get it off?
  6. Sad thing is....I've done the same thing. Didn't take me a half hour though. About 5 Minutes. Heh.
  7. For My 91 Loyale 4wd 5spd Manual Push button. Know where I can find one?
  8. EJ22 huh? Any information on this engine, such as horses etc?
  9. To be honest, I don't know a ton about cars. I just know I want/need a new engine for my Loyale. Is it THAT HARD to take out my current EA82 and put in a EA82T? My dad and I will be doing it, if I do get an EA82T. My dad knows a lot more then I do, :-D
  10. I have 1991 Subaru Loyale Wagon Manual 5Spd Push Button 4WD. I am looking to replace my engine with an EA82 Turbo. Know any place to get one? I tried http://www.ccrengines.com/ and I emailed them but never got a reply.
  11. Well, before this, only window that would go down would be the drivers one. I just realized that on the main power window switch, the lock button seems broken. Could that have aynthing to do with why the other 3 wouldn't work before? if so, why did the drivers one stop working too?
  12. We took out the relay under the passenger seat, cleaned it, put it back in, and no luck.
  13. Is it possible its the Power Windows circuit breaker? If the shop was messing with the dash and all wires under there, including ECU, etc.
  14. I feel like an idiot. lol. 1991 Subaru Loyale 4WD Wagon. Took it to a local shop. First they said the distibutor cap was loose, spark plug wires loose, and spark plugs fouled out. They said thats why it wouldn't start. Well, okay, cool. So as I was driving it away, it died. About a block away. All dash lights came on, car dies. About two mins later, starts up. As I go around a corner, dies again. I coast into a parking lot, and park it. The automotive shop towed it back to their place. Now they say the computer is shorted out. They order a new one, and replace it, and say its fixed. I go down to pick it up. When I get there, they say he just took it for another test drive, and it died again. Im like WTF? But he says, when he was driving it, if he wiggled the wires down by the clutch/firewall and stuff, below the fuse box, it would start back up. Well, my dad drove it home. Drove Fine. Didn't die once. I've been driving it since Tuesday. It has died on me a few times. One time on the free way, just died, but I wiggled the wires, and the thing started back up. Also, whenever I start it up, I have to hold the gas in for about 1 minute or two. It usually dies right away when starting up, until I can get the thing going for a little bit. Any ideas?
  15. Yeah It runs...sort of...starting a new thread about it now, actually...
  16. Heh, Well if you look at the past threads I've created, you'll see why it's from hell! Come on Guys, I like the hubcaps. After all, I'm 16 years old
  17. Figured I would show you all a picture of the beast from hell. http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/7740/mycargf7.jpg
  18. To Be honest, I don't want to take it back there. Didn't have a great experience, don't want them touching my car anymore
  19. *91 Loyale 4WD Wagon - Power Windows. Ugh...My subaru is really a pain in the neck. For people who've helped me before....still haven't fixed flasher. Car runs, but must give it gas to keep it idling when its cold outside. I took my car to the shop....and now that they are done with it, they messed up something else. Before they messed with it, the only window that would work is the drivers window. Well, since I've got it back, none of them work...any ideas?
  20. Yes the CEL is on...but it always has been. Even when the car worked properly.
  21. Ugh...So I think that my car's firing order is off.....has anyone ever come across an issue with a 1.8 91 Subaru Loyale Firing Order Problem? We replaced the spark plug wires, and it starts up once, but then will die....Try to start again, and it usually does eventually, but not enough for the car to actually run. Is this image, correct? http://www.alldatadiy.com/alldata/AFI~V8057970~C37116~R0~OB0~P2R0H~N/0/34870051/56621554/56624141/89377984/34853741/100411974/34853743/58948513/58800613/92848850/92848851
  22. Heh. I already know the hand signals. However, I am 16. Waiting to take my drivers test to actually get my license, right now I only have my permit. I cant take the test without working flashers. I would also take it in my moms Subaru 2002 Imprezza, however the shifting is quite different, im very comfortable driving my car, and would prefer to drive my car.
