Hey guys. the ea81 motors are great for putting around town and stuff like that, i have heard alot of bad things about the ea82 motors, but the ej22 heard nothing but good. now this motor will be going into a 85 ea81 hatch, has anyone found a way to put a d/r 4 speed or d/r 5 speed on these motors. that is the only thing slowing me down right now. i would appreciate any info you can give me :-)

i get get you the whole thing, the only problem you may not want it. its onyl rated for maybe 1000 to 200 lbs, and its a fixed hitched meaning no drawbar , the ball will always be mounted you might want to talk to TWB and look into him fabbing a rear end for ya with a 2" receiver that way you may use a slide in winch.....

i don't sell hidden hitches but i do valley and drawtite? wanna quote??????

what about getting the clearance for the tires on the front then?

ok so with the unibody cars a lift is just a lift, to help the droop i have read the ea82 cv joint thread on ea81 axles, so should i do coil overs/ ea82 joints and the pk davis lift??? and of course bigger tires
-
are you talking about an ozifield or byb lift kits? if you are those are prerty much more of a body lift from what i can see im looking to get as much clearence between my diffs and the huge rock the the middle of the trail..

Hey guys as i ws coming to work today i noticed a loyal wagon on the s. side of I-5 just after the 188th st. exit. it caught my eye more then usual because of a lift that was on the car but it only had stock tires. now it this belongs to somebody on the board let me know asap so i can see if i can help him get it to where ever they need. im just down the stret right now..............

how to you get rid of the torsion bar on my ea81 hatch to allow for more travel and suspension lift?
-
Last time i check this was an automobile board, im not planning on flying my hatch that high or mud bogging my plane anytime soon
-
i have heard of delta cams, never called them yet, but RAM is a joke. they want $1800 for a stock long block, thats crazy. there has got to be a better way to buy performance parts then those guys. then they was like 6g's for a complete 140hp motor. out of there mind i'll just spend a couple bucks and do the ej22 conversion i really want.........................
-
does anyone know if and where i maybe be able to get performance cams for my ea-81 n/a???
-
my 85 hatch ea81 d/r 4speed i hit about 85 just pushing the thing to death on I-5. holw thing is stock im hoping later to cure that and drop in an ej-22. maybe some of you have suggestions on how about i can do that..
