  1. i NEED a up pipe for the turbo ASAP mine broke and i cannot find one anywere can some one in the spokane are please help me !!! its for a 88rx ea82 turbo !

  3. i wanted a pod but i was lacking in the funds department plus i useally have a Co- well back seat driver lol
  4. haha sweet deal i want a lifted hatch i miss my old hatch i never have lifted something but i get the basics im pretty good with motors and such i havnt realy played around with suspension and all that jazzy

  6. on my car i had major cracks run from the exaust port down into the manifold those cracks if deep enough lead right into the water jacket behind them then you get steam and water out of the exaust and a coolant goes missing if you have had the heads pressure checked and they passed there shouldnt be cracks of that size there assuming you went to a honest head shop :-\
  7. its close to the end i will look into gettin a new one i also need a new clutch return spring too
  8. i just did the gear oil on it bout 4K ago maybe it is my clutch cable stretchin out could that cause it or is that out of the question

SO.... pretty sure my tranny is on its way out not quite certian i tryed messin with my clutch adjustemnt but its a new clutch and pressure plate. anyways second and third gear grind when i put it in its like the gears are havin trouble meshin so im thinkin syncros? if i step on the break it usually goes in no prob or if i take it super slow it goes in with out a prob. so if i do need a new tranny i was wonderin..... i would hate to loose my full time awd so is there any way i could put the rx diff on say a single range turbo tranny? and make it just like the rx one? or is there no possabilty am i doomed to to look for ever for a rx tranny. :-\ i apolozige if this is a repeat question i searched but found nothing thanks spokane soob 88rx ea82t
  12. i went up messin round yester day and crashed it :-\ but it was farily easy to read what was goin on its kinda right in the line of sight so its just a quick glance down as far as wirein i just used the clock wiring cuz it was broken anyways so i used the lighting wire and the pos and the neg for the volts then drilled holes thru the fire wall for all the engine bay stuff now i need a new fender though and a bumper whoops too fast round a corner
  13. i decided i wanted some gauges but no place to put them so i bought a hole saw here is the finished product and this is what they are in one more
  14. the hood is all messed up it got blown off cuz the latch is broken so its a junkyard hood with nothing on it i will check the sticker on the firewall but no idea what distys will work in it?
  15. gonna be buyin one soon with a bad disty. what disty will fit in it? i THINK its the 1.6 but not positive or not even sure how to tell the engine size. thanks Spokanesoob
  16. so suggestions? what can i use to get a seal for the cap. tube
  17. i had Teflon tape on the threads..... it seems like its coming out of the end where the capillary tube goes through its kinda frustrating when things don't work out
  18. so i got some equus gauges today and attempted to install them. the water temp screws into the coolant temp socket but it leaks like a Sob. whats the deal with that if it screws in it should'nt be leakin right!? oh and whats the thread pattern for the oil pump pressure sensor? thanks Spokanesoob
  19. i figured it out finaly it was a fuel filter
  20. it broke right under the trans at the flange for the down pipe to the cat. it ran real smooth before the exuast broke. would a leak cause this? the only thing i can think of that would be making it do this is the cat. thats the only thing thats in the exaust from the down pipe to the Tip i put on

So my exuast fell off lately right at the flange. so i took it off and welded it up and then cut off the non effective muffler off and then but stright pipe in place with a crome tip. so then after i get it fixed when i Almost floor it around 4and a half on the tach. it bucks super hard. so is it the way i welded the exaust or is it a fuel issue or any ideas im pretty stumped. 88 rx turbo
  22. pre turbo maybe some at the down pipe which is worse ? will it really matter effect performance some how?
  23. yep maybe idk i think i like buggin people with my already well answered questions. yeap im pretty excited that it runs now. got a bad exaust leak i need to track though hate leaks
  24. well i figured it out. :banana: lesson #549845843 make sure its not stuck between hi and low range hahaha but now idk why the threads are near end stretched cable ?
