is your carb starving out? your carb might need to be cleaned and re-built. or just scrap it and get a weber.

im totaly about the clatter of gravel being thrown into the wheel wells. its one of the coolest feelings when you go sideways around a tight corner at 55mph on a gravel road. oh and when you can see behind you because of all the dust you make

haha i see all sorts of Subaru's around town. im starting to think it is a sixth sense -
if your looking for something fast, i would suggest buying a legacy or impreza. maybe a xt 6 the sad truth is you wont get much out of that motor. i would just work on making it a high fuel econ. car cause we all know how high gas prices are now days :-\ Welcome to the Board.

just wear protection when swapping body parts that's gonna look pretty sweet if i don't say so myself. -
i was thinking a dynomax 17702 it dosnt seem to be too expensive and sounds pretty good. i heard a GL carbie on youtube. i guess what im really lookin for is a muffler that produces a nice "boxer" Growl. loud is ok i guess. im still young haah
-
so i was wondering what's a good sounding muffler. nice tone, Loud, but not omg i hear you from 4 blocks away at 3 am honda civic loud. does anybody have some sound clips?
-
yea thats what i was thinking knowing my luck i would pull it do the clutch and re seal then a week later i would blow a HG. i think i might try and find a RX with a good body and blown HG or something. and just put my motor and trans into that one and rebuild the bad motor and just swap them out later on. now if i could find a rust free RX
-
haha i dont have a problem with people comin to watch. but my dad might. and thats a big concern since i still live at home but maybe i will get the car port for a day or two. i plan on pullin the motor like uh around may 10th prolly doubt it though.
-
well my clutch is starting to go too. and since i will have some extra money layin around i was just gonna pull the motor replace the clutch and re seal. but i was just wonderin if i should do the HG's too. with help i have pulled a motor out of a xt in about 2 hours.
