i cant for the life of me get it past the first bearing ive done the passenger side twice but this is my first time doing the driver side i sat out there 2 hrs trying to get this thing in am i missing something at first i thought great napa sold me the wrong one so i went back and looked at my core axle and they were the same can some one help me here? thanks a very frustrated, spokanesoob

beating a dead horse here but what else do i need to buy to stop the oil leak up front got 2 cam seals and a crank seal any other seals that are prone to oil dripping all over a hot exaust? thanx ps what else should i do when im there? spokane soob

yea i got underneath her today and oil was dripping off of the exaust pipes and was being blown backwards all over everything

yea i guess it is kinda high for a car that old i dont know much about its history it might have been rebuilt but idk thats what the odmeter said its starting to use a quart every 2 weeks and im tired of that burning oil smell even though thats every subaru ive seen

so i got a compression test done on my car and all clyinders read around 140 + or - 10 psi is this good for a motor with 262,500? or when i take it out to put a clutch in should i do some other things also, what are the seals i should replace? thanks spokanesoob

i would like to have a tach for the hell of it and to help me time my car better so my question is will a gauge cluster with a tach swap with one that wont if the dont what do you have to do to make it work? 88 dl spfi 5 spd

Thinking about rebuilding a junkyard engine where is a good machine shop in spokane?i only knew of one and now it is out of bussness also it needs to be affordable i know getting any major horsepower outta an ea 82 is pointless but what are somethings machine shop and parts wise could i do to it? its gonna be a spfi motor out of a 88dl or similar thanks spokanesoob

so i cut the bottom of my air box out today and i noticed a major diffrence in time it takes to get up to speed and shift points ect. no ill effects noticed yet much louder but a cool sound though i think i might get a K&N air filter if one could be found has any body else done this? if you have i would like to know how much faster you could go thanks spokane soob zzz

a new outback wagon hit me in the rear one wet morning going down pines to get on the freeway she felt so bad she was crying but no damage done to either cars so oh well s**t happens -
got the same carb sitting in my closet it was off of my 2.3 ford pinto

similar problem with me if i slam on them or brake to hard it makes a loud clunk like something banging around in the trunk but up front and no there isnt anything in my trunk havnt really looked into it thought just hoped it would go away lol -
well i hade a squeeeeek similar but it was from the little skinny one, i just got some spray lube and did all of the metal on metal parts that might be squeaking and the cable and it went away hope this helps spokanesoob

so i spent about an hour searching and im still in the not so light side of lifts i was thinking mabey about 2 inches can i buy the strut blocks and the rear shock lift thingys? - tec. term. or do i need to get some other stuff besides bolts ? so if so can u do this for any lift or whats the deal?> sorry if this is a question that gets asked alot SPokane soob

so if i get biiger tires and and four wheel drive all of that off road goodness what should i watch out for wear wise like getting good at clutch replacing or wheel bearings or what im kinda curious i like working on cars but i dont want to do it on a daily basis lol

i was at 7 mile lots of mud to get stuck in

so went up to a local orv park on sat. in my dl no lift stock tires and no 4x4 only got stuck once and the mud was half way up the tires oh did i mention i beat a chevy up a hill i think thats pretty good for a 2wd car and i put half of the car under water

i know tis has been asked a bout a trillion times but what the hay, What are the biggest tires i can put on my 88 dl ? i already know about re drilling hubs but what is the "contreversy" over re drilling rims? idk if i have to chop or cut just an excuse to go by a new power tool! sorry for the re-peat but please help out? thanks spokane soob

so got a code 34 check engin light comes on stays on then when car gets to a certian temp point turns off, then 5 min or so comes back already replace silinoide so what to do ? 88 dl spfi

ok so how do u get more air ? mabey make a home made cold air intake?
