  1. Good luck or bad!?!

    As for the cracking prob, I don't think it was the lack of sanding the primer. You'll just get a rougher feel to the topcoat if you don't. Is this rattle can or real auto paint? Pay close attention to the recoat times. Usually there is a "window" that you can't recoat in. Like before 1 hr, or after 24hrs...if done in-between, that can cause cracking, peeling, fish-eyes, or bad odor. J/k on the bad odor, you'll have that anyway!!! GOOD LUCK, Tom.
