Depends on how hard you beat the car. When I replaced the gearbox in my turbo Legacy with a V2 STi 'box I noticed the "WHUMP WHUMP WHUMP" straight away. I ignored it for ages, but now after doing a track day and moving across the country it's gotten to the point where cranking up the sounds makes it go away.

Only black sheep because they are just rebadged Suzuki's. They are still awesome wee machines.

Yeah it is an RX turbo, and I'm pretty sure it'll go higher than that. Problem is, I haven't got the balls to get it that fast.

Hahaha try at the beach! A good hose down underneath keeps things from rusting out too quickly. Notice how I narrowly avoid the water a couple of times.

EA82T saw at least 9k 4 times for quite a long period. It was totally sharted afterwards.

Yes I know all about the whole BOV/BPV thing, had one on my Legacy for a bit so I could spit fireballs out of the exhaust. Didn't notice that much of a difference. Now what I'm looking at Keppel is rotate the compressor housing so the turbo outlet is facing in the right direction. For the throttle body side of the intercooler I'm going to sort out some silicon piping for it.

The brand new water pump was defective, so no worries there. Car is pretty much going great, even with the supposedly different looms. Now to sort out an AWIC and one mean arse BOV. Gotta have the pssst!

I really don't know how what or why. I'll find out from my so called 'mechanic' in the next couple of days. This is the last time he gets to touch my cars.

BUMP AND UPDATE!! Well believe it or not I fixed all the issues with a sensor that wasn't even plugged in. So even though there are apparent wiring differences, the car worked like a dream. Note the word worked because 10 minutes later outside the mechanics workshop to tell him he doesn't have to replace the entire loom and sensors the engine decided to dump the contents of the coolant system onto the ground.

Well in the Legacy the water pump is mounted inside the passenger guard...right where I do believe the airpump is located.

Most of my TZ wagon was spare parts from them. I've had no issues with any of their bits so far (EA82T aside, but that's because I didn't know about the electrical changes). Heh I'd say the ones in the RX are way overdue, but who would by 3 of those anyway???
