so an xt6 clutch will work? what are the advantages of using that over a GL clutch?

Does anyone know where to get a clutch set for an ea82 4wd wagon for cheap? cheapest ive found is $170

im trying to help my buddy fix his 88 gl spfi. heres the problem, it will start after its been sitting for a few hrs and run perfect for about 5 mins, then it dies and has no spark. i checked the rotor and it is turning, the coil is getting power. has 2 cel 34,35 but its had those for years. has a new battery and we got the alt tested(the guy said it kinda bounced around but should be ok) anyone have any ideas? thanks, Dylan

Yes you can. Just swap the block and use your 1.8 intake and accessories on it. And run it off the 1.8 ecu. It’s an easy swap. You may need a different header depending on if the 2.2 is a single or dual port. It’s also possible to swap in a 2.5 phase1 without any rewiring. Search nasioc, a lot of people have done it on there.

i pulled the codes and got 13, cam position sensor? should i just replace it and see if that works?

I found the ecu but it doesnt help becauce their is no light to it to display codes. so my next question is how do i read codes on this car?? Dylan
