I have desided to keep my gl (due to the gas prices) and fix the couple of little things that are wrong with it. The headlights are rusted inside only so i cant see ************ at night. Does anyone know where i can buy the whole assembly, not just the bulbs? It a 1886 gl "three door" (so i've been told by people on this board) It has the ea82 and single headlights with the 9004(?) removable bulbs. they are the ones that arent quite square but like square with a angled side on the grill side. any help would be great.

Well yes there is. Last years 1000 had 2 sti in it. I think the one made it like 200+ mile before problems. I used to be big into the off road baja trucks. I still have friends that race their trucks, but i am now going to build a rally car. I just picked up a 1986 gl hatchback in really good shape for the age for $500. I have built a few roll cages now and i am going to pick up a rally america rule book and start taring in apart.

Hey i am kinda new to the sooby thing. I just had a question about a term being used in the motor swap threads. What is a Dizzy? I have a 87 gl with the ea82 carbed and i am looking at doing some performance upgrads. I bought this car for $500 and plan on making it a full blow rally race car no street driving except between stages. I am not new however to offroad racing. I haveraced an off road Ford Ranger for a long time. I am howerver newer to rally. I just sold my wrx, i have rally Xed it and i am now in love with rallying. I went to the presscott rally in presscott Az, and now have been bit by the sooby rally bug. I have been reading on this forum about the motor swaps but have not desided witch way to go. I got a er27 for free from a friend who was going to use it in a sandrail project but changed his mind. I have also thought about a N/A ej series motor. But i dont know about the avalibility of parts to build a higher power N/A motor here in phoenix az. If anyone would like to give me sugestion i am all ears. I love to hear other peoples opitions. Also, once agin if someone could tell me what a dizzy is that would be great.
