Hello , I'm looking for any info I can get on having my '07 impreza 2.5i ECM reflashed for more performance. I know that it's possible for the WRX and STi so I'm hoping that somewhere out there theres a company that does it for N/A cars. I have a spare ECM to send to them so I'm not worried about damaging it. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking at an ea-81 Brat that has sat since 1999 , put in some fresh gas , cleaned the carb , jumped the starter ( due to a bad starting portion of the ignition switch ) and it lit right off , drove it around , so far so good .. does need tires something fierce though. This one sat outside. Sometimes you get lucky. I would definitely follow The Loyale's advice as to the fluid changes ( as oil can become acidic as it deteriorates ) and the checking of tune up parts and rubber parts.. We'd love to see some pics if you could. I'd fix the heads on te RS if you were interested.. My wife needs a commuter car , and I don't trust the RS for back and forth to Liberty..

Well , cobcob's right on for the milage , and the trans shifts perfect (yup , it's an auto ) and it's ALL original . the body is as near to perfect as an 8year old car with over 400K on it can be .. NO ROT! I'd definately be interested in the OBK wagon! any interst in a near perfect , electric blue 2.5RS with 2 sets of wheels and 4 new tyres and 4 almost new snows? I do work at the dealership which shall not be named , and I think I saw your Brat at Bada Bing the other day! Not too many of them around..

Just got home from Subaru Tech training , where I verified that as long as the recall has not been performed , it's still valid. Plus if it's too bad , they'll buy you out of the vehicle , which for a car you never intended to drive again , anything would be good .
