  1. oil pump seizing ea82/er27

    just wanted to know if it is common to seize the oil pump shaft on er27/ea82? just bought an xt6 with a blown head gasket, broken tbelt, and siezed pump cheap and got it running. runs great, no noises knocks exc, drives nice but the oil pump has me a little perplexed. just wondered if theres anything i should worry about

    well i wouldnt say that its impossible, it just would cost way too mutch and wouldnt hold together for long.
