speedbump

My 86 gl 10 turbo decided not to start this moring so I went through the usual steps and found that my fuel pump aint turning at start up.If I tune it with a hammer It will start and run fine,but I have to do this every time I start it. Whada you figure,on its way out or bad electrical connections that wont give it the juice to start pumping?

it isnt getting out,its getting in the cylinder(s)when the engine is shut down,i think.

How can I test my bad manifold gasket theory with out blowing any thing out?

Coolant smell and rough running on start up,minor coolant loss,but it evens out after about a minute.It does not over heat or blow white when its warm,so I dont think its a head gasket and theres nothing on the ground where its parked,nothing leaking on the engine either

will putting pepper in my cooling system plug what I suspect is a bad intake manifold gasket? EA 82 T-1990 how does this work,anyway?

HOOPED! sounds like the clutch packs are shot,probably from poor oil change intervals!! too bad...

are all the bolts out that hold teh torque convertor to the flexplate?

didja try fixing it?

how about one off a caterpillar C-15?Its about 3ftx4ft, 4 inch inlet and outlet,you could mount it on the hood! I make me laugh!

just to make sure that subaru is the same as other cars,I should check ATF with car at warm idle,running,right?:-\
