Say Hello to my lil friend
One thing I didn't get is the bracket for the jump seats so if anyone can post a couple of pics of the bracket, I can make one, but would really like a factory one. Second issue is the clutch cable is broke I'll get the gen2 and modify the pedal bracket Unless one of you happen to have it and want to sell. Thanks for the help. Anyways back to the search button!

Say Hello to my lil friend
Well I finally was at the right place at the right time with the right amount of money not designated for other things. Like most of us that rarely happens! But the planets were in line this time. and my new 81 brat sits next to my Baja in my one car slip. I found it in Oklahoma want to clean up and take home to Idaho to play in the Sawtooth mountains. Little rust both rear quarters dent passenger door and head gasket going.

The motor was shipped as industrial to California some were used in boats also these were used in jeeps and a 6 cylinder version in a dodge truck in 78. As for the why, to be different, and I got it for free! And should get mad mileage in a subie. Motor is on crate with shipping grease still.

adapters for engine swap?
I have a new in the crate Mitsubishi 4dr50 diesel, and I want to put in a wagon with hi/low 5 speed subaru trans. where can I get the adapter to bolt this up. I have searched but with limited ability on this computer haven't found what I need. I thank any advise and welcome comments. My hopes are that I find a GOOD machine shop within the USMB family that will work with me. I don't want to change any drive train! Thanks again.

Hello out there
Just a minute to introduce myself, Ironworkerboomer born and raised in Montana live in Idaho. I have owned, loved, and abused Subarus all my life! I have a 05 Baja as our everyday car. Will be purchasing in the near future a wagon for trail rides. I travel for my work so have the chance to see many places and people, and of course look for the "in the back of the barn" wagon/brat.
