  1. ok, so the sea foam worked for two days, now all the problems are back, I did the full d check and it is not throwing any codes. Would the fuel pressure regulator be a good place to start?
  2. Well I went down to Costless and got some seafoam and my car is not lugging down on takeoff anymore. It also doesn't seem to smell nearly as bad. so we will have to see how long me and my subi can be friends for this time.
  3. ok, so my read plugs have been plugged in for God knows how long!! no more check engine light. However my exhaust still stinks and my car still hesitates.
  4. ok so in d mode it keeps flashing seven times then stoping, there is no seventy seven code, the only code that I see there is the 07 for at federal and canada. I can't locate the read wires.
  5. Okay, how do I check the codes? I have been searching, I know how to put it in diagnostic mode now, I just don't know what to do now.
  6. I need to get my car through deq. It stinks it is an ea82 I think, it is the 1.8l. I replaced the O2 sensor, my check engine light is still on. So I disconnected my maf sensor and it seemed to do nothing, however when I plug it in the rpm's drop a little bit and then go back. When i disconnect the air hose from the air box an maf the car dies. When i disconnect the big sensor on the throttle body which I assume is a TPS there is absolutely no change to anything. When I drive my car (automatic) it hesitates and almost dies on take off. it also seems to be gutless. Any advice will be great!!!
  7. For the most part I get good used sets from a shop by my house. You can get a matching set for $80 installed.
  8. Walmart sells bfg's. What is the most aggressive tire sold for a 13 inch rim?
  9. I will be selling mine at the end of the summer to get a legacy, so you can buy it and have a sunroof.
  10. Here are a couple pics. As you can see I gave up on body work and went straight to paint.
  11. If youi get a residual odor you can geet dir of that with an ozone machine, I did that with a jeep that I sunk in the columbia
  12. I found a set of wheels at u-pull-it that I really like. They are the steel wheels with black centers and chrome rings. I live in washington, I need my normal doors too. To bad that you are so far away, there are two coupes in a u-pull-it about 20 miles from me. Also saw an older wagon with round head lights. One of these days I am going to fill in all the lower trip holes, I filled one of the big ones in the pass side, I am just really busy building my Jeep
  13. I have been busy working on my 87 coupe. Not sure what it's called, some places call it a hatch, some call it a coupe, some places call it a 2 door, some call it 3. It was a $100 car with only 3rd gear and body damage. Since then I have replaced the automatic transmission, replaced a front fender that took me a couple months to find, pretended to know how to use bondo painted the whole car. I have also replaced lights, opened up and resealed both headlights, no more condensation, I have also replaced all the brakes and did a full tune up, flushed and replaced all fluids. I have replaced gauges, speedo cable, and had a windsheild installed with new trim. Here is a pic of it so far. I am thinking about making my self some tube doors.
  14. I know that every time people use tube adapters on tv they tig weld. I have a good 110v mig that penetrates really got on 3/16 for sure. Should I be able to weld tube adapters on the ends of 120 wall DOM?
