  2. if they didn't change the "ratio" & just did a swap to the 5 speed - would this cause the loud noise?? - any ideas??
  3. do we have a head count? - are you still planning on the breakfast thing before the drive? - also gas stations near by? - I want a full tank before heading into the woods
  4. my lift is home made - the guy that original did everything is on this forum - but the rig has had a lot of changes - but now it has some electrical issues - I fixed a few (major ones) - but it also has some suspension issues 2 - the driver side is up higher than the passenger side - not sure the problem - but haven't really looked @ it either - but I am pretty sure - I have the ONLY lifted Subie in Delaware - so not 2 many people I can talk 2 - but this weekend (1/17) - heading to NJ to go on a off road adventure - so I can talk to some other Subie Nuts - I also own a '06 WRX but I don't take that off road - its a little 2 low (2.5" drop) - but now I have my Loyale 4 off roading fun http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=94182 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=94342

  8. ok - traced the wire from the switch all away down to under the dash - found some kind of "fusable link" - this was cause - so wired in a relay & inline fuse - now works fine well ok - heres some pics - BEWARE I DID NOT ADJUST THE SIZE - I really haven't had time - so take a look & let me know 30 x 9.5 Generals - rub a little some dash pics stereo pics motor pics (2.2 swap) different pics enjoy - what suspension are you guys using? - just seems mine leans towards the passenger side - any ideas?
  9. I'd be interested - but I'm in DE - its 1 1/2 drive for me - do you care if I bring the "wifey" & daughter? - I didn't ask yet - they both may tell me they don't want to go - just in case tho - anyone have access to tow truck or anything cheap cheap cheap in case I break something up there - that would be an expensive tow back to DE
  10. thanks I will look into the wheel bearing suggestion - thats what I said about the rear noise - if it was that bad it would lock up, but I wasn't sure I will post some pics up as soon as I can - I didn't forget - it was a ruff day yesterday - my girls (she my wife basically) grandparents died in a car accident yesterday - so its really been a ruff time w/ that - I may get the pics up today or tomorrow just to get my mind off it but we'll see how things go its a sh#tty way to start the New Year - but I wish a Happy New Year to all of you
  11. well it does have the switch, but thats not the problem - so I guess Sunday I'll be under there w/ a probe & volt meter trying to figure out the lights - but thats for all the input guys
  12. OK - next question - LSD Rear - I don't think Subafreak put this in but now it has LSD Rear in it (what he was told me) - the problem is it "humms or has a whining sound" VERY LOUD - I put in a 5 channel amp - new speakers & have to have it almost all the way up to hear over the humming sound going down the highway - so the question is - to rebuild the rear how do I know what kind or what parts I may need - I really don't know 2 much about this kind of stuff - I have someone who can do the work - I just need to know what to get - any suggestions would be very helpful - THANKS AGAIN
  13. I don't think it has a little switch above the column but I'll double check - I know my WRX has that but not sure on the Loyale - I will look - hopefully its there - that would save a me a ton of headaches if not the switch any other suggestions??
