So, I replaced the carb on my Justy, It was running good, but once it warmed up, wanted to die when the clutch was engaged. So we stopped driving it for a while. Now it doesn't want to start. Any thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone knows of seats from other makes / models that will fit in my Justy without being altered. :-\ Im too lazy for that right now.

Does anybody know if the wiring for a gen1 brat dl's gauge cluster wiring is substantially different from the gl? I know I would have to switch the dash, but would I have to go through a butt-load of wiring hell?:-\ I really want the tachometer and such:banana:

I was told that my 1980 brat didnt even have a ce light , or a place for one even. is this right?

On the subject of lights, I really want to find a cyclops eye and put it in. either way, now I need to pull my dash open and check some wires....... hopefully I'll be buying a switch for my lights:brow:

I just bought a new carb, so that is what I will be putting in, should be the same as the old one (I hope) The auto choke was literally just hanging off, someone had rivetedit on, and half the rivets came out. Mine (actually my girlfriends justy is a 1.2, and Ive never replaced a carb, but it doesn't sound too intimidating.... I hope its not too hard. Cheers to ferox for knowing where humboldt county is.

ok, I figured It might be for fog lights. Ive got the factory rollbar thats wired for lights, so maybe its already wired in there.... I should check, I sure hope its there:brow:

I was thinking about heating it and bending it back, because I hate spending money, but I was told it would lose its strength and be unsafe afterward. So you think It would be fine? Because I would rather do that for now.

Changed plugs, wires, oil and filter on my '80 brat now all I need to do is pay the five years back registration and put the brakes in, and she'll be back on the road.

alright, I'll plug that up today. Try to find time to find any others sometime too, but not in a hurry, as the brat is just sitting until I pay off 5 years back registration

sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm pretty new and trying to learn more, but what will a vacuum leak harm in my engine?

Hi there everybody, I'm not too knowledgable at all about cars yet, and I was wondering about this little part of a hose that sticks out. If I plug the hose, the engine idles a little higher, And I don't know where the hose originally went. The hose is circled in the pics, just wondering if anybody knew what it is going to/coming from, and if I should re attach it somewhere, or just plug it off. Sorry about the blurry pics, my camera is cheap. Thanks to all.
