  1. if gas prices stay high I can almost guarantee I will be showing up in Denise's Corolla. 38 mpg is nothing to sneeze at.
  2. neither do I. I call it light socal smoking or staying awake. I'm good Rob. I have it all covered but thanks!
  3. just for sake of arguement though...I have slept in a 2002 outback (nearly brand new at the time) in the driver seat and if I was driving out to this show I would gladly sleep in my Baja anyday of the week. I'd still rather sleep in a car then a tent
  4. right here is the plan. Hell my motel is only .5 miles away...I can drunk walk that I will already end up spending a night in an airplane and then have to drive home 1.5 hours from Philadelphia in morning rush hour traffic while trying to stay awake. Looks like a cigarette and mountain dew kind of morning.
  5. yeah I never saw that. lol I'll keep my eyes open for it though.

  6. 45 min, about 35 miles.

  7. its ok...I'm sure there won't be many Pennsylvanians there to be honest with you...I'd still stay in a motel if it was local to me. Softer beds:banana:
  8. if anyone is a non camper like me I booked a room at the Rodeway Inn down the street from the fairgrounds. Just putting it out there if anyone wants to stay at the same motel.
  9. why don't we just cool it a little and shoot for August. Between Dave doing pics, me being on vacation and all the fun stuff summer has in store for all of us I think it is the only logical choice at this point. so let's try a different angle: who can't do a weekend in August? Matt: can't do the last weekend of aug. so far the others are ok.
  10. I can't. I'm only getting back that weekend from vacation on the 23rd in the evening...and after being gone for 8 days I'll really need to go home
  11. I'm not so sure that is a great day to do that either.
  12. well for anyone who wanted to know... there are 3 cars registered at Carlisle: a Baja, a Legacy, and a TVR
  13. there are some really great ideas here. The tiered donation thing for perks is a great idea and subaru-svx.net does something similar. I will say I have been here longer then most people in this thread (not bragging) and I still have a hell of a time finding that thing to donate money here. I really think this needs to change. No matter what I just wanted to pop in and say that I support you in whatever decisions you make and I plan to continue donating to this place. This was my first "home" for talking about Subarus on the internet and I plan to help it keep going strong.
  14. I can't do: June 17-18, 25-26 July 2-3, 16-17, 23-24 Aug 27-28 <----WCSS!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Just bought my plane tickets!!!!!!!!!!!! See you guys in a few months! Any tips on motels? I don't camp and I am traveling very lightly. Is there a motel where others will be staying that don't camp like me? lol
  16. statue of liberty fireworks, broken toilets, clutch jobs, cars arriving on flatbeds, hoff darts......we got it all damnit
  17. Well there you go... sounds like Connie's is the ticket. Now if carlisle had a mud pit.......
  18. don't they have a WH in CT? I really think the Connie meet just might be the ticket this year. I go mostly for the people more then the cars too.
  19. disappointed is the understatement of this thread. I can't friend someone on FB if I don't know your name PM me
