  1. Looks like a pretty cool Subaru, with it sitting it may need some work and a good body washing, paint could be faded, but oh well, its a Subaru, love it for what it does, not for what people see. I like the way you took him out, you could just say the Michelin man owned it before you
  2. Lucky Im not old enough to have 12. I wish I love em lol. Gonna try and get the 1942 Plymouth Sold today... if nice enough offer made, I think I can get my mom into an outback or something
  3. If you have a number 4 Subaru and youre around the Portland (more like Beaverton) area I have a present for you Subaru finally caught up. I have a "My Fourth Subaru" badge of ownership with some lifestyle icons. I ordered number four for LuLu back in October... Just got it today lol. Also got Neds number 5, and installed, but got another number 5 today, but I need this for when I redo my Badge because mines crooked. Drop me a PM, first come first serve, its free obviously. Lifestyle Icons: MY Fourth Subaru Performance 100k+ miles Outdoor sports (the hiking and kayaking one) Rally/Offroad Mechanical Brand new, still have sticker thing and can include the directions if you need them. (might make copy cuz it has a outline for the Badge to go on your car so you DONT do it crooked like I did. Sorry if this is in wrong forum, just wanted lots to see it.
  4. I have read these horror stories... They always fascinate me... But luckily, I have not had a horror story... *Knock On Wood* I was once in a controlled vehicle flipover, that was scary, but kinda fun at the same time
  5. I thought it was like 55amps for the EA82s and the Nissan Maxima was 90amps?
  6. Im sure this year will be a blast. If I dont have Ned converted into a street rig, Ill probably bring him into the mud pit (if theres one this year, never been to this location) but I also dont wanna break anything, college students gotta pay fees before they can pay for parts on their cars. Im gonna do my best to respect noise limits, like maybe just walk around after 9ish instead of leaving to the store or something, my exhaust will wake people up for sure. Suppose I should bring a pan for oil too doubt Ill have Ned resealed by then, but we will see...
  7. Wouldnt any EA82 alternator work? If it needed the other style pulley cant they just be removed and swapped? CMIIW but I think she could pull them off...
  8. ^ Ahahaha. You werent THAT drunk this last year Ill probably be on the North Western side with Twitch There will be a 1986 GL Sedan and a 1995 Impreza Coupe camping there. Possibly a Legacy GT Im adding more members to the Subaru army every day
  9. Did I miss this? I thought people were pretty quiet compared to what I heard the Canadian end would be. Im excited to see more Subies, and bring my own Subaru this year, might even bring my friends that just entered the world of Subaru's too Hoorah for camping too, this will be great When does registration start?
  10. You really should let someone come look at that... Im thinking that with Mile Fox's guide, you are looking at: "25 Throttle Sensor Idle Switch or Circuit" This would be your 2 long blinks and then 5 shorts (being 25) Thats for SPFI This is for carburetors: "25 Manifold Vacuum Sensor or Circuit (1985-1988 Models)" Sorry for the confusion
  11. Check engine light I sent you a visitor message, I can come look at your subaru if youd like, Im in the Aloha Oregon area.
  12. What part of Oregon are you in? What are your symptoms? I have a manual, but I dont know if that will help with the computer lights...
  13. Eh its no biggie, its still sticking on there just fine for now lol.
  14. I dont have one. Now its raining and the directions say not to wash the car. Stupid Oregon.
  15. The directions say that ideal installation temp of the Badge of Ownership is 70-80 degrees... its like 50 outside so I took the trunk inside, let it warm up, installed the stickers and let them hang out and then installed the trunk again.
  16. Installed my Badge of Ownership today! I did it crooked though Oh well. Made Ned a facebook too haha Future plans: 5 lug swap, gotta start window shopping til bills and paybacks are done then I start shopping. WRX Wheels, Gold Paint Subaru STI Blue Paintjob on whole car.
  17. I wanna be in your convoy Im hoping to hook up with Twitch somewhere too Im going a long way for sure so that I can have a convoy trip again, its only 60 sum miles away, not much fun.
  18. Welcome to you guys. You will find any info you need, as well as receive ideas from other members on what they have done to their Subarus. Youll love this forum. Have a great time!
  19. Its a nice one, but needs lots of work. But its "rare" I guess, one of the last like 75 or 100 off the line before Plymouth made the tanks for the war. Flathead 6 engine needs complete rebuild or engine swap, I wanna convert to a 12 volt system. Basically make it look like the hearse I built when I was 15, but the hearse was over 10k invested lol. Ned says Hi My school got a kick out of his license plate, had to tell them his plate number for my parking permit and she just laughed.
