  1. Started the sanding about 1 hour ago and now im takin a break... im lazy. Flat black... not hard. Skull on front... kinda hard. Stickers... fun! Ill post pictures later.
  2. Yeah I know this has been discussed. Im just asking for opinions. Thanks for the help though.
  3. Comin in sometime late next week my tires should be in... 27-9.50-15 SuperSwamper TSL SSR. Im pretty stoked. Im not gonna put em on the vehicle until I lift it. I dont wanna risk cuttin up the tread. That brings me to my next question... Im debating on which lift. Now... BYB has an awesome name. I know a lot of people trust them. Allied seems awesome and their warranty is killer. But they jacked their price up to 700. That hurts... a lot. Most of my wheelin is gonna be mud and hill climbs. Are any of the different lifts better for a different condition? Any help would be greatly apprectiated. Thanks guys. By the way... 84 GL WAGON... 4x4(der)
  4. holy crap thats awesome! I like the exhaust... that freakin sweet man. If you were to pull up next to that guy, you would ever expect that to smoke you.
  5. Its actually a 78 K5... it has a 327, edelbrock carb and heads. 3/4 ton axles and ill i am doing is cutting the body lift off and putting the sooby on top. Not too big of a project. Should be fun... and the only reason i am doing this is cuz i wanna see a subaru on 38's. I understand that it is not a real subaru and that saddens me... but come on... 38's. I truly do love subarus i have another one and have owned other besides the current one. Great cars... i absolutley love them. but again i must say...38' boggers! -Brian
  6. So I have a Blazer at my house that i do not use... it can fit 38''s under it... The subaru wheel base is exactly 10" shorter than the Blazer.... So some work from a good old plasma cutter and we will possibly be seing a Subaru on 38"s. Im getting all gitty.
  7. are there any left? or are they all gone? cuz i want one.
  8. So my family owns nothing but diesels. 3 of which are VW jettas with TDI engines. I have always loved the milage and torque that diesels produce. So i am thinkin about a way to put a TDI engine into my subaru. I have no idea how i would do it. what do you guys think good idea.... bad idea? where to start? thanks.
  9. i had the same problem with my 84 wagon. i replaced the head gaskets and it was fine. and i had all of the symptoms as you. so i say definetley do the head gaskets, and a new radiator couldnt hurt.
  10. Roopair Specialties in Tacoma, WA. The number is (253)475-1760. they do good work. the website is http://www.roopairspecialties.com/
  11. Im having a problem with my wiper on my 84 wagon. It is almost like the motor doesnt have enough power to move the wiper itself. it will start to wiggle but it wont actually wipe. im out of ideas but i havent really tried that hard. it you anybody has any ideas let me know. sorry i didnt really help with your problem, but i just got to thinking.
  12. So the other day i was reading my oil pressure gauge and it said i was at normal pressure, then slowly but surely it started to go down as a traveled about 5 miles. And my oil was fine. So i drove on, and sure enough it did it again. So im not sure whats goin on. And besides that problem i cant idle, my car will just die, and no matter how much i adjust the idle RPM it does nothing. The tach just goes down so low that my car dies. so when i am driving and have to stop i put it neutral let off of the clutch, brake with my left foot (which usually means i press too hard and jerk myself, but i have gotten better... kinda) and i have to give it a little bit of gas, then i put on my e brake put it in 1st then and i have to make so i can get it. Its really really complicated. And yesterday my key broke off in my ignition, and i cant get it out. and it is stuck in the "on" positioin. So i had to disconnect my battery terminal. I know there are other problems but i cant think of them right now. but if anybody has any solutions i would be incredibly grateful.
  13. Ok, so I replaced my rad hoses and my heater hoses. And when I idle for too long, my car will start to overheat. But when i start driving for a little while my temprature goes right back to normal. And just to let you all know, my heater doesnt work, i still need to buy a new motor. But I would like to hear some ideas on what people think or what i should do.
  14. I live in puyallup WA and i my CV joints are screwed, and i need them replaced. Where would be the cheapest place to get them? Does anyone have any ideas?
