I used the manual choke 32 36. It worked like a charm. It is a 86 gl wagon, 5spd dr. It went better than I thought it would. Alot of guys buy used or rebuilt carbs, and have problems fabbing up parts and pieces. With the kit all I had to do was add another gasket so I could use the plastic spacer from the old carb. The reason I used the spacer is because the bolts in the kit are a little too long. Other than that, at least on my car everything went well.
Good luck

Are you in castle rock wa? Ive got a set of redrilled toyota truck wheels. They fit the 4 bolt sub pattern now. They have some worn 235 75 15 on them (one is toast). The tire is too tall to fit without a lift and or grinding the wells a bit. They are in good shape over all, no center caps. I will sell them for 125.00 and meet you say someplace. I live in East Pierce County up near bonney lake.
Take care
Mike
Oh and welcome to the board.

Thanks for the post about my 3 at 4wd. The kick down unit is actually "findable". The 4wd unit however has been impossible to locate. I havent had a second to actually remove the 4wd solenoid yet. Is it dificult to do, with the tranny still in the car? Is the solenoid a repairable part? And about the brass rod that you wrote about, what is that, what does it do, and how do long do I cut it to? Thanks for responding to my original post.

I live in east pierce county. If you are going to Evans Creek this month you will pass right by my house. Its a little town called Carbonado. Ive got a 1990 loyale that I will be posting pics of today. And Im definately going to be doing this lift. Its just enough for me, plus maybe a little fender roll. My car is mostly a dd and used for fire roads/dirt double track.

one eye,
Are all the lifts in the "home made lifts" thread that you have pics of 2 inch lifts? If so that is the perfect thing for me.
Thanks

BeefaRu,
Do you happen to know the paint code for the blue on your wagon? I think I would like to paint mine that color.
Thanks
Mike
