If anyone wants to purchase everything as is, I'd like to sell it all, and not pay the monthly rent on the storage unit anymore. I will send pictures to interest parties. Email formallymrsmith@gmail.com- Sold
So here is a long post. I bought a 1985 brat in September 2016 It was cherry when bought before me, and story was it was given to a kid who didn't treat it right. When I bought it, it came with a truck load of extra parts. I spent a couple grand getting it road worthy. It's got less than 1000 miles on the exedy clutch and gaskets were replaced but that's a time thing. So it was my daily driver until January of 2017 when I was tboned by a Nissan truck and they drove away when I thought we were pulling over. The car drove all the way to my house but I know since it was pushed up against the curb, the back driver side control arm is bent. Also the point of impact was the passenger door. I do have replacement doors that aren't perfect (rust along the bottom) but are better condition. There is a lot of stuff in my storage. 2 extra ea81 engines think 2 transmission Steering column Dash assembly parts Lots of rims and tires 14" puegots on car Good glass on t-top 4 individual jumpseats 2 subaru headrests Basically, I don't have the knowledge to fix it. I love subarus and I love this brat and I had a hatchback get totaled too. I have a curse when it comes to my subarus. So I'm done. Someone come take all the subaru stuff at my storage unit. I need a good warning to clear out all the personal stuff but of you want pictures of better detail, I need serious inquiries. I will try to upload the photos on the board but the file size limits me. Willing to email or text just PM. Storage location is Ridgefield, WA.- EA81 Weber Conversion Writeup

I have a brat in a storage unit with a bunch of parts. I was tboned in the brat 5 months after I got it. Insurance did nothing.- Goodbye Hatchback
I know it seems easy. But I have no money, I work 7 days a week and I go to school full time. Not to mention my commute is around 60 miles a day.- Goodbye Hatchback
I’m broke as a joke, and it’s not funny- Goodbye Hatchback
Dude I bought it from had it on a farm for 13 years and only drove it when there was snow on the ground. Apparently the engine was replaced/rebuilt at 190k.- Goodbye Hatchback
I also have a Weber kit still in the box that never made it onto the engine.- Goodbye Hatchback
I don’t know a price yet. I need to find out how much they will take out of the value if I keep the car. Mileage was almost 254k. No visible rust that I see. But I’m not smart like you all, so idk where it would be hiding.- Goodbye Hatchback
Two different companies have said it’s a total loss because the repairs cost more than the “value” of the car. I have mid terms this week, and I’m not really able to deal with all this. I NEED a driving car with insurance.- Goodbye Hatchback
Well, someone hit my car out front of work, and the insurance company is saying it’s totaled. Still waiting on confirmation from third party, but just thought I would see if anyone wants the WHOLE thing. Otherwise I’m gonna let it go to the abyss. It was my daily driver, but I gotta keep insurance for things like this, so I have to move on. My insurance will not insure salvage titles. I don’t have a price yet, but first person to contact me about a serious buy, gets the car. Located around Medford Oregon.- So my rear defrost wasn’t working.
This was honestly at 5:30 AM, before the sun came up, and a penny is the first thing I grabbed in the dark. I have used it multiple times since then but only when I need it, hence when in a pinch.- So my rear defrost wasn’t working.
So what I learned is, if the button is in the out/off position and you put a penny on the side and then push it in, it will sometimes work in a pinch. Which really helped me out.- So my rear defrost wasn’t working.
