This thread should be on the Subaru Classified forum, not here.
He is not selling it yet. Just putting up what he found and how it has a ton of miles.
Oh and that is in great shape for 471k! You get it from Canada?

Thanks Turbone for finding the thread.
He wrote, "* The dash pad has had alot of mods to length and width and sides. Near on 6 months work in the dash. Alot of trial fits, trimming and more trial fits. The sides had to be built as well as the top corners of the pad assembly."
Makes the car IMO. I am impressed with the paint for a DIY.
Looks close to the same color as your wagon 1982gl4.

Want more pics!
Let's hunt down whose car that is and have them join USMB!

I believe this is the color.
Here is the tread with more pictures.

That looks Bad A$$!

A guy over on Nasioc painted his GC Impreza a BMW charcoal and I think it amazing.
I think a dark red would look very cool and retro.

This thread was bumped in the meet and greet section.

I went to Davenport a few years ago for a wedding. Nice small town.

I hate dealerships... they always pull this crap. Always trying to get more money out of you.
Even though it is covered by insurance, they shouldn't be wasting your time like that. An honest mechanic is hard to find.
-
Looking great! Keep up the good work.
Those rotors look shiny with the painted calipers.

i know this post is old but i live in spokane .
Hahaha I was like who bumped a really old thread. I just moved from the Spokane area, I went to EWU and so did my wife.
Miss it...

914 is the way to go my dad has one swapped with an EJ25 DOHC and a early legacy fwd five speed trans! The thing is amazingly fast! It's really nice to drive too, except the shift pattern is completely backwards

Wow that's awesome! I would be putting it in the wrong gears all day though. I saw a 914 yesterday on my way home, I forgot how small they are in person.
-
Over on Nasioc a guy has been putting an EJ255 into a Porsche Boxster.
Sweet project with tons of fabrication. I believe he plans on selling a kit car so he is not making it crazy expensive.
Sooo last night I was watching that top gear show and they had a Pontiac Fiero. That seems like it would be a sweet mid engine chassis to transplant a sweet Subaru engine into.

Back on Topic: This is the nicest Old "Subaru Leone GT4" I have Seen with a Moded Engine to Race:
I'm in love, that is soooo awesome!

4x4brat makes them I believe but don't know if he has any left.
Here is a thread with info.

Welcome to USMB!
Once you figure out how to navigate it will be easy to find any information you are looking for.
What year is your car? There are three sections that deal with the different model Subaru's.
If you post a question of your issues in the appropriate section you will get help pretty quickly.
Also the Ultimate Subaru Repair Manual is great for common issues or upgrades and there are a number of step by step write ups.
The search feature is a great tool as well. Post what specifically you are looking for and someone will point you in the right direction!
Cheers!

Wheels are looking great! Keep the pictures coming!

My non Subaru has a bad throw out bearing. Your description sounds like it could be that.
-
I'm exciting to see how this swap goes for you!
I too plan on doing an upgrade like this in the near future. First thing first is I need to find the vehicle to upgrade!
Best of luck with the swap, it is going to be so awesome!

Dennyt has modified his vehicle for much improved mpg. Below is a link to a thread he posted that says what he did to improve mpg and he also provided links to additional information.
