  1. ah ha ! well after it's all done then you can imagine it will look like this .. worth the wait .. http://clearwater990.tripod.com/
  2. Well the site has been updated with some high res pics that my nephew took for me. You just got to click the high res link under the main site tittle ..
  3. Recently I lifted my subi with a back yard boy 3" lift .. So I decided to make a web site to show it off. All photo's are with a mobile phone camera, so the quality isn't fantastic .. but its a start http://clearwater990.tripod.com/
  4. yes i have discovered where the vacum problem is comming from .. however blocking all tube's has fixed the problem ..
  5. ok ok, what have i done ? I went out and bought a after market pod filter .. cut off the end of my standard ea 82 air filter and attached the pod to the air intake . Now the car will not idle below 2000 rpm .. the only vacum hose that is not attached now is the one that is at the very first hose before the motor starts sucking air .. the hose that is on the intake nozzle of the air filter just after the cool air intake that comes from inside the right hand guard .. (right hand drive .. i am in australia) I am completely stoopified .. NEVER HAND ME A HACKSAW AGAIN .. i completely removed the air filter system... so just the bare carburetor was exposed . all hoses that where attachec to the filter are open .. and the bugger still idle's at 2000 rpm or more .. ps .. the idle scew is all the way out and the throtle cable is loose .. i cannot down the idle anymore .. excuse my grammer ..
  6. I was sitting directly opposite the launch area .. there was a crowd of around 2-3 thousand all around watching aswell .. not only did he get huge air he got the crowds awsome screams of approval .. let it be known that he had a tow truck waiting in the paddock for this was a wreck it style jump .. and well, i heard from the 2 way radio conversation he was having, "there is a crease in the roof" this car had a roll cage inside, no seats or interior, and a wrx motor in it .. .. and after it I was asked if I needed parts for my L series by the fellow talking to the driver on the 2 way ... I replied "well actually i am after some 14" rims .. he said "hrm, they might be a bit buckled"
