Small leak in my radiator over this last summer, so i just kept a gallon of water in the car and filled it when low. (So no antifreeze at all). Winter- water pump frozen solid while driving= water FLOWING out of timing belt cover. And engine timing knocked outa the park. My diagnosis- may need new water pump, definitely water pump gasket and timing belt. It still runs, but rough. No white smoke. My question: is it still possible i blew a head gasket, even with no smoke??

I STILL HAVE THE YELLOW WAGON, BUT IT GOT REAR ENDED SO BAD THAT IT COMPLETELY WARPED THE REAR END TO THE POINT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE THE BACK SEATS, THERE IS A HUGE GAP BETWEEN WHERE THE SEATS FOLD DOWN. I am in need to know if I can change my rear CV axle by myself and not have a shop do anything? what has been happening is the inside of the CV axle(the big round part that flexes), has been making all kinds of snapping sounds and is LITERALY starting to seize up and making the car almost stop!! Has this happened to any of you? and am I going to be able to fix it? I already have the new axle and plenty of tools. I have changed the front axles before but never the rear. please let me know if you any information. thanks, Austin

so i have an 88 gl-10 with a very nice stereo. somebody tried breaking in through the passenger door and COMPLETELY destroyed the door handle, and didnt even get in, which is good. But i am going to visit the pull a part today to get a new handle and have some questions. 1. i have power door locks and power windows. so im trying to get some info on pulling the door panel?(what to do first, etc..) 2. they f***ed everything up so much that i can only roll the window down about half way. So are there any internal parts anyone thinks i should get that the place wont charge me too much for?

Finally finished. used the vinegar, then carpet cleaning bissle'd it. the seats feel super soft and brand new now. just got to get rid of that light vinegar smell. lol

yea thats what it looked like. i was just making sure no springs or something are going to come popping out when i lift it out. ill keep you posted with the cleaning. i used the vinegar and water trick before and it seemed to work. i also have a bissle carpet cleaner, so i know thats going to help ALOT.

I recently moved to Colorado. And had my Subi shipped, just got here today. The interior is covered in alot of mold and i am currently using the vinigar trick and scrubing alot. i am trying to find out how hard it will be to take out the front seats to be able to clean it a little better. can someone tell me how easy they are to take out? thanks, subi dude

yea, forgot to mention i have a 2 inch lift with 205/75/15's on now.

I am looking at getting some 215/75/15 tires. they are going on my wagon that has a two inch lift and a 1.8 SPFI engine with a 5sp dual range tranny. Can anybody tell me what kind of gas milage im going to be getting? Im driving all the way from washington to colorado. So any help would be much appreciated. thanks, subi dude

Ok, so almost two inches wider. guess ill have to look how much more room i have left. might have to (somehow) pound a little more

i am planning on buying myself some new tires. I have 205/75/15's on the car now with 2in lift, and did enough pounding to where they dont rub AT ALL. so thats good. i looked for 205's everywhere but cant find any good mud's in that size besides general grabbers. The question is. I really really want the BFGoodrich KM2's, but the smallest size is 215/75/15. So will they work? or are they going to rub ALOT? thanks, subi dude

Hello again...gotta new question. I am soon getting new tires for my car cause my current ones are almost completely done for. I currently have wildcat 205/75/r15's on there. And I really want to get the BFG Mud terrain KM2's. but the smallest tire they sell for 15 inch wheels are 215/75/r15's. So to let you know, i've already pounded down and cut as much as i could to make sure the 205's work, they dont rub AT ALL. so that is good. So will the 215's work with my 2 inch lift? Will there be a significant amount of rubbing while on/off road? Also, can someone tell me what diameter my current 205's are, and what diameter the new 215's would be? like, 27in? 29in? 30in? 31in? I WOULD REALLY like to know.. Any information would be awesome. thanks, subi_dude
