  1. @Dinky26- Transmission and motor mounts are good… The joints always go 1st for me, whereas the boots stay intact.
  2. Seems like I go though CV joints like none other in my 86 BRAT. Does anyone have intel regarding higher-end/better quality CV joints than the low-end OE replacements? Cheers, Jeff
  3. I'm looking for anyone that might have a small yard or know of a yard that has 80's parts. Specifically, I'm looking for the lens covers for the lights on the side of the front bumper. Anyone have parts or know of people in the area? Jeff
  4. I'm ready to buy your Peugeot wheels...are you going to sell them to me?

    Thnx,

    JD

  5. I'm interested in those Peugeot wheels and will be in Northern Oregon in a few weeks. Please call me at 541-420-4426 so we can set something up.

    Cheers,

  6. I just saw your message. I'll try to give you a call tomorrow or you can give me a call at 541-291-2748. Thanks.

  7. Did I ever get back to you on this? PM me if not. I don't normally check my public wall thingy here.

    Jacob

  8. Just left you a voicemail... Somehow I deleted your voicemail before I could listen to it.

Shoot me a call about the wheels when you can - Jeff D.

  9. Let's connect about your roll bar. Please call me @ 541-420-4426 or email me at jpdengel@gmail.com

  10. I've looked through this forum a bit and have sent a few messages...but to no avail. If you have one to sell please contact me. Cheers, JD
  11. Do you still have that long-style brush guard?

    JD

  12. Do you still have the 15" alloy pugs?

  13. First off, I have an un-lifted 86 BRAT that I'm replacing the shocks and struts on (it drives way too firm). I primarily drive it on dirt roads and just a little pavement...about 70% & 30% respectively. It looks like KYB is the way to go, though I'm curious about the ride-characteristic differences between the Excel-G (GR2?) and the Gas-A-Just. There appears to be a mild USMB consensus stating that the Excel-G (GR2?) rear shocks ride a bit softer that the Gas-A-Just rear shocks. Can anyone confirm this with personal experience...or second-hand info for that matter??? Cheers, Jeff D.
  14. Hi there,

I came across an older post in which you stated that you replaced your struts and shocks with the KYB brand components.

Might I ask which shocks and struts you chose to install?

Also, did it provide a better ride that justified the purchase?

    Thanks,

    jeff D.
