  1. also the plugs and wirs have the correct firing order 1-3-2-4
  2. the car has brand new plugs in it....and the distributer cap was a lil nasty but i wiped it out and scrapped the contact strikers clean...as for the timing belt i havent checked it but i did fell it and it is super tight no loose ness in it at all

  6. went to pns and spent the whole day poking around subies with my buddy....i pulled off 3 IAC valves and put the cleanest one on and it still runs the same but i found some projects i want to do ...found some legacys that i might pull struts off of and put on my subby to give a lil lift....also some gls that have some d/r trannies
  7. idle air control valve ...it is the primary source for the cars idling
  8. so my car runs but it wont accelerate idk what to do i cleaned the IAC valve.new plugs.new oil and oil filter...if some one near by can help me and can come help me work on my car please message me
  9. it helps a little bit...but im gonna go pull a iac sensor from another car at pns tomorrow and put it on my car i hope it works
  10. so its kinda dark and im still working on it....its idling really rough i cleaned the IAC but i could have messed it up so i might go pull one off of an old car....how do i check to see if my timing belt skipped a tooth or whatever it is.....thanks for the help guys its almost running
  11. ya i did 2 qrtz of atf...let it run for about 15 min...drained it all...took off old oil filter put on new one...refilled with 5 qrts of oil and it is still idling rough....wont let me accelerate at all...should i go pull a IAC off of another loyale or what
  12. i cleaned the iac and put it back in and made sure my firing order is right...i drained out about half the oil and put in 2 qrtz of atf in and its running but it is idling very rough did i mess up the iac or how do i reset the computer to reset the idle
  13. i got a cb in my car and it almost running but i think the firing order is wrong because the engine is shaking a lot
  14. draining it as i type and only 163xxx miles on it

  16. it is cranking but not igniting so it just keeps turning over and over
  17. so thats this sunday right...hopefully i can have it running by then...im cleanin the iac right now and oil change tomorrow same with spark plugs
  18. well i only drove it for about 35 miles to get home after the water ...my oil level is reading like double what it is supposed to be on the dipstick so im pretty sure i have water in my oil.............twitch what day is the trip and what time anyone else get the stupid database error page i get it all the time
  19. everytime i post something you keep saying the same thing well you have water in there i know that already and im working on that i have not driven it since the day it happened and i dont appreciate you talking to me like im a FING idiot...im new to this i used to be a gamer and a modder and i lost interest so i sold my games and have moved on now im trying to learn this
  20. i have all the plugs in the right spots and everything and number guy i have not been driving it around so please just shut up...if ur not gonna help then please quite telling me stuff...i drove it for maybe 30 miles sense i was in the water...i drove it home that was it...it turns over but its not egniting
  21. by the way i have done some searching already on here and google im asking the questions that i cant find the answers too...like just a few min ago my car was running fine went to go drive it and it stalled out again now wont start back up...what do you think it could be ive gone over the whole engine making sure all hoses are connected only thing i havent done is cahnge the oil because i want to put atf in first but its not even turning over now...so im gonna clean out where the spark plugs plug in and replace the plugs with new ones
  22. ive never seen the fan come on...but im just trying to get my car running faster its my only car and my only sorce of transportation
  23. ya all three hoses are connected on top and the bottom one is connected to the canister and just hanging...also i cleaned off all the plugs and made a piece of paper towl into a point and cleaned out where you screw in the plugs...i had a bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust for a min then it stopped and a little bit of water was coming out.... also the 4th and 5th picture are a picture of a fan,is that fan supposed to turn on when i turn on the ac or heater,what is its purpose it doesnt turn on http://s1143.photobucket.com/albums/n628/dannoo93/

  25. i did find a canister on the left front hand side that has 3 hoses conected to it and on the bottom it was not connected to anything and i can find where the hose is subbosed to connect ill take a pic of it tom if i cant find where it goes
