  1. Hmm, thanks, I should be able to do that no problem. One more question, i found the bottom bolt on the caliper fine and removed it, but the top (pivot point) doesn't seem to have a bolt. Here's a pic. Any ideas as to where it could be? Thething that looks like a bolt head in the picture doesn't have the squared off (or hexed off?) sides that a bolt would have, its just round. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3104/5816847771_0b23ce4b8c_b.jpg Thanks so much!
  2. Where is the piston in this picture? Is it the ring? If it is, how would I remove it? http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5230/5816731299_d92f16db10_b.jpg It was definitely siezed up, as when I jacked the car up, I couldn't rotate the wheel. It looks shiny and fine though. Weird. Anyone? Help? Tips? Answers? Advice?
  3. Don't worry about me, I am mechanically inclined Found the compressor, duh, didn't know it was right there, found the caps tested the pressure, NOTHING. took the tubes off, shiny new looking black rubber gaskets. I don't think they are the problem. Anythign else I should look at before i run off and grab a can or two of refrigerant?
  4. SO my heat works fine, blowers work fine, but No A/C. At all. It will blow out air, but not cold air. No noise either. And, embarrassed to say this, but I can't seem to locate the A/C Compressor in my engine compartment. Where is it/what does it look like?
  5. If the system is indeed pressurized, won't refrigerant come spraying out at me?
  6. Does anyone have a picture or an explanation of where these O-rings are on the A/C compressor hose? My Subie is having the same problem. Thanks, NT
