  1. rust on a florida car ? my boss has a 83 f350 he bought from a fisherman last year down in FL. frame is practiaclly spotless. sheeet , ive seen 2 year old cars here in maine with rust starting.
  2. you know what i mean. when you drove up that hill in your driveway. that wasnt crawling. and you werent the fisrt owner either.
  3. just a mile long bumpy trail. im the newest owner and im sure its been ridden hard by previous owners. ive only owned it for 2 months and driven a total of maybe 8 miles offroad on some truck/atv trails. it happens to old rusty metal i guess. and btw it let go on the tar , after i had exited the trail.
  4. can anyone help a brother out with a replacment ?
  5. idk what its called but i would assume the rear subframe/control arm/thingy
  6. no parts lined up. it litterally just happend. i just got home and uploaded the pics lol.
  7. so i went out for a little trail ride this evening in the brat and got some fresh new stance action goin on. im just glad i got out of the woods before it happend. last pic was taken about 40 minutes before it broke. i had JUST gotten out of the woods when it let go.
  8. well its still doing it. it sounds like its a rotating clunk , wheel baearing or axle. ive been too busy to tear into it latley.
  9. i get a popping/clunking sound when i accelerate. it doesnt do it if im real easy on it. i just replaced driver side inner and outer tie rods , but it did it before too. went over to bratman's ( i bought it from him ) and we went over it and everything appears to be tight in the front end. any ideas ? thanks
  10. yea after some looking i kinda figured it would be a PITA , it doesnt really ride all that bad so ill just keep drivin her and hope i dont roll over or something lol.
  11. well all i had on hand was " lock de-icer with lube" in the little aerosol can. seems to work alot better till i can get it really fixed. ill look for the spray graphite. thanks
  12. i meant lock , i just call it a switch. im not quite sure how to take it apart. are there any how-to's on here ? i tried searching but it kept saying no results.
