Looking for everything I'd need to convert my 86 GL's rear drums to discs. Willing to pay for shipping.

So I have a dual range ea82 tranny. On the back above where the shifting linkage enters the housing, there are two wires, one green and one black. What are these wires for? Also, on a four inch lift, how long should you extend the 4wd linkage?

Hey guys. So I'm planning on doing an ej swap into my ea wagon this summer, and although I was planning on using an ej22, I have easy access to two ej25s. One is a SOHC with an incomplete harness, don't know what it came out of or what year it is. The other is a DOHC sitting in a wrecked 97 legacy, complete. From what I understand, the SOHC is the more desirable of the two. So I'm wondering if i can use the wiring and ecu from the DOHC on the SOHC? Is there anything else I would have to swap to make it work? I've seen people ask similar questions, but couldn't find any answers for my situation, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I believe I once read somewhere that you can put seats from an XT or XT6 into a gl. Is this true and if so is it doable without any modifications?

So there's kind of been a popping noise coming from the suspension area on the front of the car, and it happens usually while coming to a stop and then going again, like something slides back and forth. We've just replaced the half axles, and i swear I've made sure the lift kit pieces are all tight. any suggestions as from where or what this may be coming from? Also it's been off and on since a while after I lifted it. It has a 4 inch SJR lift.

Now if I were looking for a good walk through on an EJ22 swap, where should I look? I've searched quite a bit and know I've found stuff before but for the life of me can't remember where:confused:

Wow it's been a while since I checked this haha! Yeah that would have been mine. And the steering was obviously fixed a while ago, but thanks for the info, in case I ever do something like this again.
