i havea 1987 subaru gl 4 wheel drive thats over flowing the catch can . its not getting any thing in the oil and nothing is coming out the exhaust and i checked the plugs and they seemed ok and i cant find any hose leaking im on the 3rd thermastat 2nd radiator cap, clutch fan the only thing i havent done yet is a comp test but other then that does any one have anything else i can try thanks craig

I can't find my Subaru book but I am needing the toqure specs for installing the flywheel and specs for installing the pressure plate for a 1988 Subaru dl

Check your belts I had one that started ticking and intended up being a belt coming apart

The t stat is installed right. I did burp the system and so far it seems to be doing better

I have a 1987 Subaru gl thati had to install a new water pump and radiator and installed a new therastat and now it fills up the overflow. But it's not getting water in the oil and it's not blowing any thing out th exhaust. Any ideas on what's causing this

I bought a near mint 1993 Subaru loyale the other week for 300.00 with a rod knocking. After taking to the people they said they were heading to town for a high school ball game and it started knocking. . When I got it home the two things that I noticed was it was low on coolant and the car has the factory 175-70-13 on the front and 185-80-13 on the back. Do you thing havning different size tires n the back could have caused it to start knocking

I blew mine out on my gl a wile back and went with a glass pack. Sounds pretty good I got everything needed for install at autozone for around 45.00
