other than dropping the tank, is there a way to find out if there is an in-tank fuel pump. i have heard that some models have in-tank or out-tank.

Fuel problem ? HELP!!!!!
I sill need to do the quick pull over check. What i have checked off the list is fuel pump/filter, water/fuel, coil, air gap, egr, valve lash, plug gap. the problem has also persisted through two different carbs.

Fuel problem ? HELP!!!!!
I have a 81 wagon with a 1.8. rebuilt hitachi carb. It like to sparatically run like its out of gas or flooding, though if i push in the clutch and give her the full pedal she takes it with no problems at all. I have addressed the fuel pump, filters, cleaned all emissions hoses, tuned the carb, adjusted timing, all to no avail. the problem is random, though usually happens on an incline. does anybody out there have any input ?

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
i just picked up this little beast last week. i have replaced the thermostat, new high flow water pump and a couple hoses. i also swapped out the stock muffler for one that i was using on a baja bug. i looks as though i will be replacing the rear main seal soon as well.
