Hello everyone. This is my first post to the forum as I'm a new owner of a '98 outback. I'm having a few issues with my car. Any corrective measures would be appreciated.
1. When driving down a hill and letting off the accelerator, as I approach moving traffic, the car will buck and finally settle down. When I step on the gas again, the same bucking occurs again. Is it the clutch or accelerator/throttle body?
2. I live in the middle east and this model is equipped with a 'friendly' reminder that beeps at you constantly when driving over 120km/hr. Does anyone know how to disable the speaker or where it's located? If you've driven in the area, you know 120 barely keeps up with traffic.
3. I cannot activate my cruise control and suspect it's the switch. After taking the switch out yesterday and bridging the harness, I hear a click in the dash, but do not see any 'cruise' light on the dash. Does this light exist? I'm going to put in a new switch, but wonder if it is something else.
Thanks for any advice...
