I just had a thought..( I know its scarey!) Does anyone have a 14in spare for my XT6 they want to get rid of?? i forgot I am running with a 16 inch space saver spare and havent gotten the right sized one for Rock when I got the new rims and tires..If someone has one they could drag along I will buy it from you at the show grounds. OH njdrsubaru..your health is more important and is understood by all of us...we will miss you there though

Turns out Tommys Uncle is going to be there...probably with a Volvo...Tommys Mother told us ..guess there are car nuts in his family:lol: and his Uncle is a collector of antique and classic cars..he has been told to look for the bumble bee subaru

LOL..we aired out the tent washed the sleeping bags..I need to get a tool box organized ( I am bringing some body work supplies down just in case we want to patch any holes) I still need to pack the clothes get my dogs stuff ready for the boarder..make some food..wash and vaccum the car..etc etc didnt get the interiour done on the car but..oh well..but see..right now I am at work using my inspection machines server puter to surf the web ,,shhhhhh dont tell anyone :banana: ( <- thats how I feel right now)

Gotto love the yellow...the hard work so pays off...I know I have about 300 hours now into Rock and he still has alot more to go...but I love the feeling of accomplishment...Marys Yellow 78 is one of the vehicles that made me decide on going yellow...for the longest time we had a pic of it as a screen saver here at work on the one puter:)

Lets all just keep our fingers crossed that Rock doesnt toss one of his fits within the next few days :lol: Only car I ever knew to truely have ADHD

I actually put a brand new starter in last night...it was for my own peace of mind cause my other 2 just didnt come close to looking right....all is well and Rocky is running again...BTW Tommy came home with the new starter...I guess I have to keep him now

Hey..I once dated a guy ( way back in dinosaur times) who said when we broke up that a car is more dependable then a girl...3 days later I passed him broke down on the side of the road ....needless to say he wasnt driving a Subaru ( a 70 Nova shackled up.) Proms are over rated..if you ask me..nice wagon though!

I have been runnig cheapo in both my Loyale and XT6...but I dont have a turbo so its no help...Hey..you want to put a hurting on the gad tyrants...everyone should be driving EA82 FWD 5 spd wagons:lol: $10 (@$3.11 a gallon) gets me 110 miles in traffic in Bucky:banana: $10 in Rocky gets me to the next gas station:rolleyes:

Friday early afternoon

So I guess I have to keep Tommy...he came home from work and plopped down the brand new starter ...there was only one in the area and luckily it was in Danbury...so anyway...it is installed..Rocky is starting nicely..took him for a 10 mile loop trip to get his puter back in order since the battery was disconnected for a day....Going to take him to work tomorrow and then looks like Carlisle here we come! :banana:

Paulyburger...I have been running Bucky...sometimes you have to do what you have to do...thats another reason why I will not pull parts from Buck..he isnt a parts car and I need him right now. I use Tommys truck on weekends if I have to go somewhere ...but during the week good old trusty Bucky has been my mode of transportation for the past 3 weeks

I am not pulling Buckys and taking the chance of both cars being down...thats just stupid...I am about to say forget this whole thing..I am getting even more confused by the info I am getting

This would be fine if the car didnt like to periodically stall when coming to stops. I still have Bucky ..if I have to I will bring him...

If you can send me some pics I may be able to help you somehow...I have done a decent amount of body work...and I can also tell you how to repair your windshield temporily until you can figure out what exactly to do
