thats a realy nice subaru,extrimly rare here,my guess is that 75 4wd station never sold here. you dont even see front wheel drive station of that year that one must be restored ,i dont know how the title goes in the states but i think it can be done, i got my 76 gf out from a junkyard and will get it driving in 2 months time. ...but if its doesnt go i would like the front grille for the gsr(with those beautiful small red lights it looks cool!!!!)

Good news, as you remember my 76 gf was missing a gear box and engine (i found it at a junk yard) automatic gear box of that model is hard to find so after a lot of searching i found an old subi laying in an old farm. Its a 78 station wagon,automatic but thats not all... this car until yesterday had only one owner!! The guy i bought it from had own it since 78! it wad last driven in 2002, so we tried to start it: new battery ,water in the radiator,checking the engine spins,turning the swich and after some shoking the engine works! like nothing. shifting to "R" good kick on the gas pedle and the car is moving! like it was never unused in the last 3 years,some gear oil is missing so it drives slowly but that will be changed. full of enthusiation i told to my self that car must be restored and not striped out for parts(the gf will wait some more time..) but bad news is that the owner had taken the car off the road ,the problam in israel is that even if you"r not using your car you still have to pay the yearly fees,so the one of the ways to stop that is by taking the car off the road ,that move is one way ticket ,and the car couldnt be on the roads again for ever. so i guess i"ll have to strip it tomorrow pics tomorrow too

well,76 GF coupe ,74 GSR coupe . #for the GF -lower blinker that comes under the front bumber,only the plastic cover(right and left) -the rear GF simbol. -a dash board and the shift stick sarounding,(will be hard to ship here) -and rear chrome vent trim.both sides #for the 74 GSR -front grille,preferd with the subaru simbol and the g-SR emblem. -the front lower blinker ,attached under the front bumper (larger than the gf's ,completly orange) left and right. -front light plastic (both sides) -and off course the genuine fender mirrors,they sims to be gone from the planet. that it I hope i"m not being too optimistic:rolleyes:

thank you all but that one is not mine ,my friend found that before me, I"m still searching but i must say that less this days ,i"m happy with my 76 gf and brat.

the car isnt right hand drive ,the photo just got like that,the stiring wheel is on the left side.

finaly after alot of headaches and endless research my friend found a 74 gsr, theres lots of work and some parts missing,but that car is awsome and it will be restored . here are some pictures of the new baby wohow

In israel subaru are selling their cars since the late 60's. Gen 1 brats were sold here alot and you can see plenty of them on the roads(mostly 2wd,and few of the 4wd). About the gen 1 brats ,well i beleive somthing like 10-20 alive but not on the road and less than 10 driving, i know of one 78 and two 79 and they are in good shape and less,the others are 80-81. I own a 81 brat dual range and he is driving and soon to get new paint job,but when we meet (the israeli subaru club )i"m the only one with gen 1 brat. Its sed since they sold here in good numbers but because of a lot of thefths and wrong use with them mostly all of them just gone ,they are very rare this days here in israel

I need to change my brat's front struts and spring its all crooked,I"ve asked around but here in israel every thing is expensive and a pair of new monroe matic with springs and work is 750$... Does someone can tell me if theres an alternetive? I dont know, toyota's pair from junk yard or something like that ? thanks

hello,I have another question that does"nt concern subaru,but maybe someone can help me. I need to tow a 1961 cadillac series 75 (limo) from seatlle to new jersey. these car is quite havy,i asked u-haul and their equipment cant tow that. any help will be great thanks(here is the car picture)

how much can 4 of this cost? are they wider then the regular ones? i want a set that can help on sand and other offroad thanks

hello there"s a good chance i"m at the u.s next week for some bussines so i thought to get those rims and bring them back with me. i want the ones in the picture but if someone can advise and inlight me on other for my 81 brat,i want them to be bibber for offroad use. thanks

yes there are a lots of parts i need,first if you have the front emblem I"m searching one for a long time so i would like that. side mirrors:i need side mirror"s if you know of or have the ones that comes on the fenders(like gsr) them to ,if not which one you have? any case i"ll take them too. where are you from? my dashboard and the shifting stick(automatic) sarounding is in very poor shape,so if that can be shipped its super. does the rear light looks like the one at the picture? look I dont mine to ship a box with all those parts and all other that can be taken out. please let me know
