  1. but maybe ill buy that book. i have a 87 subaru gl wagon and i want to put a turbo on it. can i buy a new on or can i take one off another subaru and just slap it on
  2. well right a book on how to sell his vw and go buy a subaru
  3. surely its the axle. changing it your self isnt hard. the best trickis dont take the brakes apart. pull the brakes off together and hang them up with a coat hanger so you dont mess up the brake lines. unlike chevy and fords thes a pin that holds the axles on that has to be driven out with a punch. thats probably the hardest thing.
  4. ok im a noob in the performance world but whats a dizzy? i have a 87 gl wagon but no turbo can i put one on
  5. im tryin to do the samething can you get a turbo for a 87 gl wagon? i put a folgers coffee can and stuck it on the end of my exuast just to fit in with the "cool" hondas
  6. now i know the 87 gl wagon doesnt have the most power but i need some more! i was wondering what little things i can do to make go or any major beside engine transplats? can i take a turbo off an other subaru and slap it on mine?
  7. that is wierd my subarumakes a lot of sounds to but i dont know what it is and one noise is simular but its in the front. from the back though it should be to hard to find out? how bad are your shocks? oh yeah how can i start a thead i have lots of probs?
  8. Hey! the best thing to do is clean your terminals and bat. wires for ware or anything but after i would do that have a friend hit the cyliniod with a hammer not hard just tap and try starting it most of the time if a cyliniod is going out that can start it. i dont know why but its an old trick, but i dont think its a starter. OH yeah allways remember at least in alaska you can allways find a gl for 500 buck and use it for parts
  9. THey are right i had to do the same thing you will probably have to get an ext. for you antenna if you want it
  10. Hey dude its stick right? it all depends on when you drop the clutch, i can roast my tires if i drop it at 6000 rpms and i do it all the time at 5000 and my original clutch at 117000 miles is still perring like a kitten
