  1. Hi, the trouble codes are mainly just for the sensors and the units the computer control, there is no code for the computer itself or for power or earth problems. Fuel problems won't show a code directly. Faulty connections on wiring or faulty components in the computer can all be intermittently caused be heat, switching off for as little as ten seconds can sometimes be enough for them to cool down and restart. If it's a new vehicle just take it back and tell them to fix it.
  2. Hi, your problem could be as simple as an air leak somewhere. I would get some soapy water and a little brush and go around looking for leaks, especially where the mechanics have been working. If it started since they worked on it then it's likely that they bumped a hose and cracked it. If you don't find any leaks that can be seen externally then it could be the control valves are leaking internally. Some of them come apart and are easy to clean. You are propably thinking that it would have to be a big leak to not get pumped up anyway, but that's not how it works. A small leak will let one end or corner down and the pumps computer gets confused. I'm a mechanic and have fixed several Hondas with similar problems.
  3. Hi there, what you could do is get a cold chisel, and split the nut in line with the axle its on. There are tools called, "nut splitters", that work with a screw and a blade like a cold chisel but the chisel works just as well. Generaly you don't have to split the nut entirely, just enough to expand it around the threads. Hope that makes sense to you, it's the approved mechanics way and much better than heating the axle/bearings.
