  1. thanks. would it be more worth it to just use a lift kit instead of doing the swap with the struts?
  2. I have a 2001 outback that i want to get more clearance on. i hear you can swap in forester struts from newer years that will give you about an extra inch or so and then add star spacers to get it higher. i just can't seem to find any information on it. is this the easiest way to get more clearance? I'm driving to mainland mexico from washington state this summer and want to get my rig more adventure ready. i want to get different bumpers as well. any help would be killer! thanks
  3. 92 loyale and my 4x4x won;t engage when it press the button. recently i replaced the clutch and right after that it stopped working... thought on if that caused it to stop working? thanks!
  4. Thanks for all the input! I ended up dropping the transmission and putting it on a dolly and sliding it out and replacing the clutch. Almost done putting everything back into place.

  6. Yes im looking for like some pictures or information on the smoothest way to do the procedure Right now i am preparing to unbolt the transmission. any ideas on the best way to handle this? Also do you have to replace the transmission gasket after? Thanks for the help!
