  1. Oh yeah, I understand that, I meant where the engine and transmission mate up. Not the plate where the rear main seal goes.
  2. Wondering if anybody out there has any kind of dimensions for an EA81 bellhousing? Like the measurements of where it bolts to the back of the engine. Trying to draw up an adapter in Pro-E (CAD program) and cant seem to find any good dimensions to use.
  3. Took the turbo subie down the road a couple of weeks ago. Have been messing with jet sizes on the carb and wanted to see how it ran. It was making 7 psi of boost! But still not enough fuel. It quit pulling around the pressure like there wasnt anything else to burn. Goin to have to get so more fuel to it. Then on the trip back got pulled over in my driveway for not having plates on the back. Oh well.
  4. Trying to get a feel on how low I want it to be... Removed springs from from struts and have the rear shocks bottomed out... In the process of modding the front struts so it will be this low with springs on them... Got an old diverter valve from a 1.8T VW and installed... even got to run it down the road.... turbo spools good....untill it runs the bowl out of fuel.... Hopefully be fixing that problem soon.... (PS diverter not installed in picture below) Will try and post pictures of the struts when i get them done.
  5. Started it up, jumped in it, ran down the road, turned around, pulled out, straightened it up, floored it and dumped the clutch. Made some boost and then nothing.... stalled. Had to restart it. I thought I had figured out, but apparently I am pushing way more boost than I thought.... Back to the drawing board...
  6. SWEET!!! im trying to get it all straightened out... power or less for some power and sound... not looking to make any huge numbers or anything...
  7. Hey everybody!!! New to the site. Not new to Subarus... they have been in my life since I have been on the planet... everyone one in my family has owned at least one... Heres is mine: 83 GL 1.8 Turbo (my own doing) Going to be slammed in the ground still working on getting the kinks out of putting a turbo on a non-turbo car....
