I already have a basket on top from my baja and I'm planing to take out both of the front fog lights and sell those and get a led light bar for the front. I was think of maybe chopping the bottom half of the front bumper off for better approach angel but I don't know what that would look like. Has any one done like custom rocker panels or something like that? I might be able to get some scrap metal and when school start make some projects with it

The car is already having all of its seals replaced in the engine same with the timing belt, cv boots, one of the axles, tune up, and a good cleaning in the engine bay. I'm looking more form making my car to use it for camping and off roading if that helps with anything. My main concern is the mod being cheap. I don't mind trying a challenge and I have a few friends who can help

Well for the moment I won't be able to do the suspension swap since we are already having to do some engine work on it so it will have to wait. But does anyone know of some cheap and or easy mods for me and my friends to do with my car since I still have a few weeks until school starts. I already have to swap out rear tail gate, rear carpets, all of the seats, hood, and a few other things.

Has anyone done or know how to swap in 99 subaru forester suspeinsion into my 95? In the junk yard thier is one thier and want to get a little bit more hight from it. Can anyone help!

Or the other way to mod is to get the JDM parts but that's exspensive to do but for some things it's the only way to do things. Like getting any type of aftermarket or OEM projector head lights they have to be shipped from japan. Also how much do you think they would charge me to get a custom metal rear bumper. I would like to have the trailer hitch integrated into the bumper like one of the custom rear bumpers for the baja has a set up like that.

Also does anyone know of a metal rear bumper for my car that has a trailer hitch integrated into it? I would like to have the hitch but not have it so low to the ground anyone have any ideas?

Yeah true, once I do get my car back I'm gonna go to my subie dealer and ask about the key. Also does anyone know if the JDM mirrors with the tweeters will adapt to a 95? My car had the tweeter in the drivers door but isn't thier but it is wired for it since the passenger door has one.

Yeah it sometime take a bit to try to turn the car on because of the key trying to get the right position with it. How much would a dealer charge for a new set of keys and also would they know if the car has keyless entry?

I don't like the aftermarket alarm systems and the key is not an original it was a duplicate and a very old one at that since I can just pull it out of the ignition barrel. Also I don't know if all of my locks on my car are the correct ones because the key dosent turn the locks on any of the doors

So does anyone know of a good method of getting replacement keys? Would it be easier to go to the Subaru dealer and get it thier or call a locksmith? My original key is shot and since I am replacing my tail gate it would have a different lock. Also does the 95 legacy have the ability to get a key fob for it? Any help would help. Also I can't have my original key duplicated because it can be pulled out of the ignition when driving

Right now the car is at my mechanic getting maintenece and the cel all fixed first. I was only thinking about the turbo mod after it's running right and if my friend would let me have his old turbo

So how hard would it be to get that engine to run reliably with a low psi tune? Also how much would it cost to do it?

Does anyone know if the EJ22 in the 95 legacy a closed deck engine? If so how would it handle a turbo off of an 04 STI? One of my friends has 2 of those as spares and when he come back form GA I'm gonna ask him if it would be possible to turbo my car

Being in FL subarus hardly ever show up at the wreckers and if they do they usually have been hammered pretty hard in an accident. I'm only looking for a little bit of lift so I would just go with 96-99 suspension and wheels

I end up not getting STI seats but found a 96 subaru outback with a full interior and got a lot of parts off of. I got new to me driver passenger and rear seats and rear carpets, the cargo cover, and the rear gate with the wiring and glass for $200. I now need to clean the seats and install them and eventually with a couple of friends install the back tail gate. The wiring for that runs all the way down to the tail light and was a PAIN to get thought the pillar. Has anyone swapped out their legacy suspension to an outbacks or a baja's suspension?

How will putting STI seats in my car differ from stock seats? I found a set for $250 and they are like 15mins from my house so should I get them? Since my seats are already junk I thought I would be a good upgrade any thoughts. Also my cruise crontrol and brights don't work on my car and both of the fuses are good for them

In my car that I just bought the cup holder thing isn't thier and it wouldn't do me any good anyways since I drink 44o.z sodas. Does anyone have an idea for a replacement?

The inside of them are junk, the head light alignment is out badly and I think that the tool for it on them is broke, one is yellow and they both have pretty decent cracks in them and some of the mounting brackets on them are broke. Any suggestion on some after market, OEM ones that would be good replacement. Getting the projection JDM ones are too exspensive unless someone on here will sell them me thier set.

Yes it was that code and today I was working on the head lights and the lights are fine on it but the housings are junk and the wiring for the right side one was slightly melted were the light connector to the wiring. Will head light housing from a 96-97 work with the grill for, that one or what? Also the bottom left fog light had no bulb in it was was full of water and calcium. Should I replace both the bottoms or try to clean up the one I have?

I already have my own mechanic who is a subie master tech so I have that covered but I'm mostly likely gonna get a tune up done, flush all fluids and replace them, and figure out the o2/ cat sensor problem.

The tires are all the same size and brand and it is all disc brakes.
