  1. Would you need a converter plate. And why wouldn't you want to get the manual. It's more economical and of coarse depending on your preference, more fun.
  2. Might need to get the soldering iron out it your going for universal fit but that's really really budget
  3. Measure your bulbs and just go get some sealed ones from autozone. They have a little rack there dedicated to sealed headlights
  4. I know this is gonna sou d weird but what if I wanted to carburate it. Has anyone ever seen that done where you have a blow through carb along with the turbo on any type of ej
  5. What If you wanted to swap all the drive line components including axels with custom fabrication to mount everything. I mean if the axels were shortened to fit the width of the car and have the driveline shortened to fit the length of the car
  6. Been kicking around the forums and I havnt heard anything about an ej25 swap. Just the older ej 20s and 22s. I was wondering if anyone had looked into this and if there was some serious issue with doing something like this. I mean, I'd think that having 230hp+ stock and have room for upgrades in an 1900 pound car would be amazing
  7. I've had my 1986 Subaru for a couple of years, always ran fine when I drove it. A couple months ago, it started sputtering and I had to keep the rpms at 4k in second to keep it from dying. I couldn't figure out the problem and I re did the vaccum on it, did an EGR delete (sort of) and nothing. For some reason I started it a couple days ago and it ran totall fine and I put a full tank in it and drove it for an hour an a half around town. Messed with some vaccum lines and it sputters heavily when I accelerate like it did before and it only runs fine at 4k (warmed up of coarse) it will idle with a miss and misfires heavily with lots of backfire when coming down. When I unplug the O2 sensor, nothing happens and I was curious if it being broken might have something to do with it. It does have a computer and a Hitachi carb. Most vaccum lines hold pressure and the vaccum advance doesn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated If you have any questions about the car or anything else, please ask
  8. Nvm, this is the wrong place to post this. I apologize
  9. I'm new and I was told, that when you need help for the old gens, this is the place to go. So I've set aside my pride and am asking for help on my 1986 Subaru GL hatchback that could really use some help. Vacuum lines everywhere and lots and lots of backfire
