  1. I just tossed them in:-\ It's supposed to be.044 iirc right? //M
  2. Ok, I've checked and everything says it's the right part #. Though I'm getting a sputter like somethings not firing(guess) after changing the plugs(BPR6ES-11 was in there previously). I've pulled the wires and plugs and redid it but still a rough idle and has the tendency to die. //M
  3. Oooo, Have any pics pointing that one out? Is it like the PVC valve? Rookie here, needs a map around the engine bay. //M
  4. Can't remember which second gen's (95-99) were affected but I got a new alternator under a Subaru Recall for my '98.
  5. I get pinging in hot weather if I run anything less than Premium on my 86 Wagon(EA82). Going to find out if it's true for cold weather as soon as it gets here.
  6. Thanks for the info, Looks like I get some new glass at the junkyard and then test the buffing on my old stuff. Will let you know. ///Mark
  7. For those of you that get the streaks from the rollors pushing on the window glass(power windows), have any of you found a good fix (besides replacing the glass). //Mark
  8. Thanks XSNRG! I remember searching for the info and coming up with that thread and assumed it was a direct swap too, though being a Brat with a EA82, I didn't know if that came into play. So basically, if I get a XT6 clutch kit (includes flywheel right?) it should pop right in? //Mark P.S. No Haven't meet Barracuda yet. But I would like to get a Eastern WA / Idaho meet together before the weather gets too bad.
  9. Bonners Ferry is quite a drive from Indiana:D //M
  10. Come on, Needing some help guys!:drunk: :-\
  11. There should be a button on the dash that will rasie the "rear" when you put cargo in the back. //M
  12. Ok, I need some ressurance that the XT6 Clutch kit will work as a replacement for my slipping GL clutch. I'm really a noob on my GL compared to my Legacy so help me out guys:D Is this a go? And what were the benefits again? Thanks. ///Mark 1986 GL Wagon 5spd with 4hi/4Lo 223000mi
  13. So are most body parts swapable between them? Headlamps/Bumpers/Window Glass? //Mark '86 GL SpeedWagon
  14. I'm thinking an ACTclutch, but don't know if they make one so.....Pretty much as the subject states, need some ideas for aftermarket or is OEM still a good way to go? //Mark
  15. I know you people are hiding out there, it's ok now, you can come out of your caves:D //Mark

  18. I saw those to caliper assembly bolts (17mm) and took one out, but was thinking it should be simpler than that. Oh well, now I know and knowing is half the battle! Thanks stephenw22! //M
  19. That long bolt was what I looking for (like my 98 Legacy) and found, though I did't see the top bolt for the caliper to pivot on -- I must be missing something. //M
  20. Well, I know who to come to for engine help.... //M
