snowone replied to powderhound's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThey'll fit just fine... great actually. We've had some on our 92L wagon, and they look great. I've got a set for sale with or without RE92's: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23885

Headgasket estimate??
snowone replied to nathh's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX$1500 is in the correct range.... w/ timing belt, seals, etc. while they're in there. I had mine done a Smart-Service in WA here at 70,000 miles... they did a great job. Make sure you get the new-type of gasket put in.

Window scratch
snowone replied to Pillowsplat's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThis CAN be polished out. I just did this on a new windshield that was installed... and the installer noticed the scratch _after_ completing the job. I work for a glazing company... the guys in the shop hooked me up with a disk polisher that fits onto a pad + drill. Takes some time and effort, polishing with water and powerful drill, but a minor scratch can definately be polished w/o exploding glass ; ) I'll try and get the info on the polishing stuff & post it here tomorrow... can't remember the company, but pretty sure it was ordered online. I scratched the glass on my previous legacy when pulling into garage w/ bikes on rack... DOH! :madder:

Clutch Hydraulics
snowone replied to cookie's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI replaced both/all at the same time on my legacy... definate improvement. Curious about your experience though, not getting positive results until replacing the master. I assume you flushed/bleed/replaced the fluid when doing the slave and hose? I adjusted the connection at the pedal assembly to improve the engagement point... world of difference! Wondering if it would ever be benefitial to use a braided stainless clutch hose... or try the PDM slave that changes the action.
