  1. Damn... I missed it! Wanted to make it this year... been busy and forgot to check in and note the date! Looks like it was snowfun... BB
  2. They'll fit just fine... great actually. We've had some on our 92L wagon, and they look great. I've got a set for sale with or without RE92's: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23885

  4. I believe that something along the lines of this would be a good deal: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=571638 Not bad, 6k for a 1997 Subaru Legacy GT Sedan – Black Granite – 5MT – 80,800 miles
  5. You NEED +48 or better, preferably +50-55... Check this for reference... pretty much the same: http://wac.addr.com/auto/obs/wheels.html
  6. $1500 is in the correct range.... w/ timing belt, seals, etc. while they're in there. I had mine done a Smart-Service in WA here at 70,000 miles... they did a great job. Make sure you get the new-type of gasket put in.
  7. Try these guys: http://www.gtglass.com Glass Technology | 1-800-441-4527 | gt@gtglass.com Pm me w/ email addy if you would like a pdf sample of their "scratch magic" polishing product instructions. :-) "All that is needed is a small 110-volt drill and a water spray bottle. Only $39.50 (part # SRSM, additional discs available for re-order). Order Now!" http://www.scratchrepair.com/catalog.asp?nativepage=4
  8. Nice work... that sounds like a GREAT DEAL! Have fun in the snow, eh!??!
  9. This CAN be polished out. I just did this on a new windshield that was installed... and the installer noticed the scratch _after_ completing the job. I work for a glazing company... the guys in the shop hooked me up with a disk polisher that fits onto a pad + drill. Takes some time and effort, polishing with water and powerful drill, but a minor scratch can definately be polished w/o exploding glass ; ) I'll try and get the info on the polishing stuff & post it here tomorrow... can't remember the company, but pretty sure it was ordered online. I scratched the glass on my previous legacy when pulling into garage w/ bikes on rack... DOH! :madder:
  10. I replaced both/all at the same time on my legacy... definate improvement. Curious about your experience though, not getting positive results until replacing the master. I assume you flushed/bleed/replaced the fluid when doing the slave and hose? I adjusted the connection at the pedal assembly to improve the engagement point... world of difference! Wondering if it would ever be benefitial to use a braided stainless clutch hose... or try the PDM slave that changes the action.
