  1. So let me explain why its not so great for the water pump. when the clutch starts to grab due to seizing or from age and whatever other reason the fan starts to spin at the same speed as the pump for extended periods of time and unless the fan is balanced perfectly (usually not) the water pumps internal bearings will see that and start to wear, also needing the belt to be tighter so it wont slip plus the force its pulling on the shaft forward at high revs. the benefit to them over the electric fan hardly justifies the extra wear on the water pump. being turbo should warrant having a higher CFM electric fan anyways
  2. ive had a couple water pumps taken out by the clutched fan, went to electric only and never looked back
  3. theres a wire missing from the coil that tells the fuel pump to stay on, i had this issue, check for broken or missing connectors near the coil
  4. so, after the turbo gets cooled by the water, it returns back into the head, lava hot, adding more heat to an already hot cylinder. i think i have an solution and im going to be trying it, thought id share the idea. send the hot water post turbo into a heater core with its own fan, and then return that much cooler coolant to the head.
